See I'm optomistic and think this thread will get a bit too long as well LOL..

OP posts:
buffythenappyslayer · 08/08/2006 10:16

just thought,if we are not allowed to talk about 'nobody' on here what if anyone was to discuss 'nobody' on other websites, would that be not allowed aswell?or has 'nobody' just got it in for mn?

Gizmo · 08/08/2006 10:17

It was on in their usual 'what the papers say' slot at about 7.40. Quoted the Daily Telegraph story.

Fantastic

laundrylover · 08/08/2006 10:17

Oh right it was Morning Paper.thanks

flutterbee · 08/08/2006 10:20

OK seeing as no one is answering my thread I shall ask here, are all of the articles that are mentioned in the hard copies of the papers or are some of them just on line?

geekgrrl · 08/08/2006 10:20

oops, sorry for the mp/moondog mix-up. I'm crap with names.

fairyjay · 08/08/2006 10:26

morning paper
Re. the original thread - anyone in their right mind would know that you were joking.

edam · 08/08/2006 10:31

If the Mail were worried about her, they wouldn't have run that headline. It bears repeating: 'The baby guru who threw her toys out of the pram'!

JessaJam · 08/08/2006 10:32

Bloody well done to the emailing/phoning etc gang...as people have said on the other (now blimmin' huge) thread, I too have slightly prickly eyes at the whole banding together in crisis, power to thepeople thing! And loving BMCers and Bounty-ers etc for coming over and leanding their support too.
Like someone said (can't find it amongst the 1000+ posts there...) we might argue and snipe and disagree with each other, but on things like this we can all work together and that's great (they said it better tho'!!)

Keep it going..I'll bring round mugs of tea and choccie biccies to our brave MNers on the front line!!
Post the link to the petition regularly...the second petition isn't it?

Gizmo · 08/08/2006 10:32

The Mail have much bigger, nastier, more expensive lawyers than Mumsnet, Edam. I guess they know exactly how far they can go...

edam · 08/08/2006 10:35

Oh yes, I know, was responding to buffy's post. Someone posted the disclaimer from nobody's own website on the other thread - strangely disclaims responsibility for any individual posts. Hoist with her own petard?

Plus let us not forget the abusive posts made by a certain 'Gxxxbabe' in defence of nobody... she certainly sounded very tired and emotional late at night...

MrsRichardHammond · 08/08/2006 10:37

Well done ladies! Just reading through it all on Bounty and here! NICE ONE!

edam · 08/08/2006 10:39

Hey MrsRichard, you are from Bounty, aren't you? Please tell all the posters there how much we appreciate their support. Don't do cyberhugs, but if I did, you'd all get a group one!

hunkermunker · 08/08/2006 10:40

Have Pupuce and Bloss posted re this?

MrsRichardHammond · 08/08/2006 10:40

yeah im one of the bounty masseeve will pass it on!

Tinker · 08/08/2006 10:41

Yes, the Indie have stated that nobody posted as nobodybabe. Glad, that's in print.

Whizzz · 08/08/2006 10:42

typical MNetter

JackieNo · 08/08/2006 10:44

You've all done amazingly well getting so much publicity - it seems to be everywhere. I keep welling up when I read these threads too. The power of MN really is awesome.

colditz · 08/08/2006 10:46

Tinker I saw that too. There's so much I want to say about the use of "babe" but I won't...

laundrylover · 08/08/2006 10:51

Just to echo the congrats for all this publicity - you should set up a MN PR agency! Reckon a certain childcare guru might be needing some good PR soon.

SlightlyFamiliarPeachyClair · 08/08/2006 10:55

YES YES YES YES YES

I may have risked my marriage and not feed my kids until very late coz I was e-mailing and e-chatting, (oops, no routine ) BUT HELL IT WAS WORTH IT

Peachy has the biggest grin on her face you can imagine.

I love all those headlines- esp. The Mail. Fab !
