going to be on in a minute..

welshmum · 08/08/2006 11:38

if loads of us contacted the programme it would probably mean more pick up in the papers tomorrow and elsewhere on the BBC - these things do tend to get a head of steam up.

MrsRichardHammond · 08/08/2006 11:40

OOh isn't it funny hearing someones real life voice!

SlightlyFamiliarPeachyClair · 08/08/2006 11:42

I e-mailed this

Thank you for publiscising the risk to the site Mumsnet.

Mumsnet is a site that has kept me going througha difficult time, during which my child was diagnosed as being on the autistic spectrum. The support received has been wonderful, and instrumental in improving our son's life immensely.

That somebody else could be denied this support because of a feud makes me very sad indeed.

Thank you.

I figure the emphasis needs to be on wat MN actually DOES rather than just boosting Nobodies book sales

alexsmilitantmum · 08/08/2006 11:42

cheers mrs richard hammond.

wannabe-you are doing really well!!!!!!

Wordsmith · 08/08/2006 11:42

that woman was NASTY on 5live

SecurMummy · 08/08/2006 11:43

I assume she was trying to provide a fair debate then?

Well done you - I would have got cross with her

MrsJohnCusack · 08/08/2006 11:43

well done Wannabe, you were very, very clear and articulate!

fuzzywuzzy · 08/08/2006 11:43

That woman was being rather histile was she not?? This is my opinion entirely obviously.

Wannabe well done you came across really well...

fuzzywuzzy · 08/08/2006 11:44

hostile dammit

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 08/08/2006 11:44

wannabe was FAB but the DJ was a bit off!

SlightlyFamiliarPeachyClair · 08/08/2006 11:45

I thought she was rather, but hey they let her on! That's what is needed at the end of the day surely?

wannaBe1974 · 08/08/2006 11:45

I think she thinks she's a top-rate journalist ...

JessaJam · 08/08/2006 11:45

Am sure dj was being the 'other' side of the argument in order to present an fair and balanced debate and not jsut sit there with everyone saying "yes we agree"..besides if no one asks you the tough questions, you don't get to make the really good points in responses do you?

jessicaandrebeccasmummy · 08/08/2006 11:46

very true - and we got the point accross

wannaBe1974 · 08/08/2006 11:46

have also emailed them the link to the petition.

alexsmilitantmum · 08/08/2006 11:46

the woman on 5live saying ' would you like omments like that about you?'

no i wouldn't but i haven't set myself up a s a childcare guru!!!!!! and if i had put myself into the public domain in such a manner, then i would expect people to say things about me.if she doesn't like reading them, then stop trawling the site looking for them!!!!!!!

the only opinion worth worrying about is that of people you love and care about.so complete starngers say you smell-who cares????!!!!!!!!!
sorry to rant but it makes me so angry!!!
delete if necessary!

cupcakes · 08/08/2006 11:46
