Grin I am tempted to as well - obviously only for the purpose of this thread honest

well in fairness it only allows you to do what you can already do without going through all the faff of changing your permanent name.
I think it's a good idea.
Apart from the one time I tried to use it it didn't work.
That said, it would be better if it was a drop down box containing all your names.

Octopussocktopus · 12/09/2013 19:44

I'm giving it a try in safety here
Trying a name I've just made up - no I has to be a name you've owned before

DollyTwat · 12/09/2013 19:44

That's pretty cool actually
Has to be a name you've registered

Screwfox · 12/09/2013 19:45

bugger its gone now

MrRogerMashitter · 12/09/2013 19:45

Won't anybody think of the children

DollyTwat · 12/09/2013 19:45

Shit!
Remember it doesn't stay on that name!

SPBisResisting · 12/09/2013 19:45

Oh I didn't realise it wasn't on the normal site, how odd

Screwfox · 12/09/2013 19:45

oh its only on the phone? great
I might wheel out a few classics

BrianTheMole · 12/09/2013 19:47

i have been on here for 10 years _ i have had almost 400 nicknames

Shock
viperslast · 12/09/2013 19:47

It is cool and clever but I don't see what reason it was added for, surely the only people who need to flick about are trolls aren't they? Most of us nc permanently, for a season or for a personal thread. Surely the odd personal thread from a regular isn't worth a whole new clever tick box?

OP posts:
perar6ua · 12/09/2013 19:48

Ooh...

SPBisResisting · 12/09/2013 19:49

Yes but if you're NC for a personal thread you tend to want to be back to your normal name when you post on the "what's for dinner" thread

viperslast · 12/09/2013 19:50

I am glad someone else is thinking of the children! I get the feeling I may have unleashed a monster Grin

OP posts:
viperslast · 12/09/2013 19:51

I agree spb but is that a huge enough issue to warrant such dangerous changes?

OP posts:
belatedmaybe · 12/09/2013 19:53

Ooh ok anyone who has op highlighted through the thread - does my sock puppet also high light?

Screwfox · 12/09/2013 19:54

i KNOW
a lot were fun ones -( or they must have been funny at the time )

ocasionally I read an old thread and half way through realise i am the OP after all

ElkiesBrook · 12/09/2013 19:54

Like this you mean?

Screwfox · 12/09/2013 19:54

im going to find my phone later and try out some VINTAGE ones Grin

viperslast · 12/09/2013 19:55

Do any of you have op posts highlighted?

OP posts:
SPBisResisting · 12/09/2013 19:56

But you have to go n and set up all the name changes anyway. So it's not really that different I don't think. It's just that if I want to change back to JenniferAnistonsNasalHair (I definitely ha something like that) I can do it easily enough.

BrianTheSockPuppet · 12/09/2013 19:56

Testing

SPBisResisting · 12/09/2013 19:56

SPBisResisting · 12/09/2013 19:56
