I second (or fourth or whatever?) keeping the OP's posts highlighted even if they namechange - and the one about being able to see the thread (or at least the last bit) while previewing your post, so you can remember what you were replying to.

Also think it would be a good idea if posting on a thread created a bookmark at your post, or alternatively an option to read from your last post as someone suggested.
