Ive tried posting nicely on this site 3 or 4 times now and ive just been called a liar or a troll and actual curses, ive been nothing but nice to ppl and never given anyone reason to think im lying or a beeeyatch...nothing i write is ever good enough...
there are a few ppl on here who are genuinly good and want to help out and i thank them ppl greatly.
i just posted my new thread edited so that noone could accuse my case of being "so outrageous" that i must be a lying cow but a quick scour of the net has confirmed my fears , that this is a bully-boy site.
I am appalled to say that the moderators here ...dont , i found personal attacks rife and even when i reported them i was told they would stay...and then on ONE occasion i say "OH COME ON"! when i was thrown abuse ...and I was warned...and THEN my whole thread was deleted when it had crucial advice i was relying on for tommorrow written on it my those few helpful members. all that effort and their effort i wanted to utilise just gone to pot because the moderators would rather delete my thread and the advice i recieved than remove bullies from thier site and thier threads...
so please remove me and all i have wrote...
i am better than this place.

Katharineclifton, you think you will get that far???? trust me you may reach for the wine before they reach preteen Wink lol!

empirestateofmind · 13/11/2011 03:08

To find out what all the abbreviations mean you should click on

acronyms

in the talk headings

There you will find AIBU etc explained.

violet79 · 13/11/2011 03:12

i twice posted in the unresonable section ... and one of those times i abandoned it cos i meant it to be an upbeat convo , just cos i was lonely while my husband was at work ...and possibly have a giggle and make some friends...how wrong was i!
the other time was my very first post and i was nothing but polite...all the pppl who were nasty were simply making out i was exxagerrating in some way or a troll.
i dripped infio when ppl pushed for more info than was nessacary to be able to offer the advice required...i mean i may as well of been asked for my NUS number!
you know what regardless of what side of the road ppl hypothetically drive on , there is never any excuse for bullying and i cant believe how much its allowed on this forum.
you cant be serious about wanting me to answer you question about what is a troll!!! ...i have to say you are taking me back 30 years...surely you must realise that even if i didnt know i could of goggled it by now...so just maybe it would be an idea to stop thinking so negativly...what on earths made you so judgemental!

I counting almost ten as preteen Wink

KickArseQueen · 13/11/2011 03:15

It doesn't explain Troll tho. I've seen lots of people do exactly what the op has done. They then get called a troll and think someone is being abusive, name calling / being rude.

I'm still waiting for a reply, I'm polite enough to have waited for one, but bed calls all the little kickarses and Mrkickarse will be up at 6.... oops is that the time???!!!!

KatharineClifton · 13/11/2011 03:15

Thank you empirestateofmind! It's taken me years to work out most of those. Never knew that section was there

KickArseQueen · 13/11/2011 03:16

Wow KC!!! you have done well! lol!! I'm counting by almost 8 as preteen but she's a diva! Hmm

AIBU is the bun fight of mumsnet, you would have been better off posting in Special Needs I would have thought, where the posters have a lot of experience of the issues facing parents of SN children and mainstream schooling.

If you have mostly been posting in AIBU and Feminism, then you have been posting in 2 of the fiestiest sections of mumsnet.

New posters are always welcome, we were all new posters once.

On this thread you come across as a spoilt, petulant (possible drunk??) child.

Do you seriously expect a moderator to be sat there at 2.00 in the morning, in case someone on mumsnet decides to have a hissy fit and flounce?

mjinprechristmasfrenzy Sun 13-Nov-11 02:57:34
Whats my excuse for what?? I wasnt aware I needed an excuse for anything.

If you mean why am I posting at this time of the morning, its because I am keeping my beloved step daughter company while she watches a film (again, we have watched it together once already) because she is upset at splitting up with her BF and has issues with her insane mother.

You are incredibly hostile and I have no doubt, wherever you post, if you continue to post in an antagonistic style, you will continue to be upset by posters on mumsnet.

erm???

Bye!

empirestateofmind · 13/11/2011 03:21

I was on the school trip/water thread but will look for the hair thread to have a nosey see if my input would be useful.

Talking about wine, here is a light-hearted article suggesting the first thing you should do as a parent when you get home is have a stiff drink.

One of the comments below the article made me laugh:

Some doctor on tv this morning said the way to achieve inner peace is to finish all the things you have started. So I looked around my house to see things I'd started and hadn't finished - so I have managed to finish off a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of Chardonnay, a bodle of Famous Grouse, a butle of wum, a pockage of Prungles, tha mainder of bot Prozic and Valiuminun scriptins, the res of the chesescke an a box a chocletz

violet. you posted in the wrong section. You posted in a section that you didn't even know what it stood for! As for troll, Yes sure you could google it, but you don't know how many people don't, because they assume it is someone being rude / offensive. I am sat here trying to read your posts in a positive light. In a pleasant tone, but I'm just not getting it. Bottom line. If people have a different view to you / disagree you jump on them. Maybe AIBU is the right place for you, just not as the op! I can't see any real difference from the attitude in your posts to the posters you are complaining about.

MrsWembley · 13/11/2011 03:22

2.5yes and 4.5m - does that count as ore-teen?

violet, some flounces are better than others... let's just say I feel very privileged to be present at this one.

What film is it mjin?

empirestateofmind · 13/11/2011 03:26

Wow this thread is turning into another bunfight with the OP.

I remember on the school thread some MNers were suggesting the OP sees her doctor as she doesn't seem coherent.

The OP claims to work in science but can't string a sentence together. Mmmmm.

It is 11.30am here- Asia- so I am MNing with a lovely cup of (Yorkshire) tea. Bliss.
