MN slow?

Anyone else having problems with MN loading today?

Yup, ads1mumsnet with a touch of google-analytics for me to. Did the inspect element thing (right click on the ads) and its only the Mumsnet Bloggers Network (banner and box on r/h side) that have ads1mumsnet in their html. But not the Featured Blogger box. Please deal with it. Thank you.

Ok, after one night (last night) where MN was working normally it's going very slow again. It's so frustrating!!

Yes very slow for me again ,I've tried firefox and chrome and it just took over 5 minutes to load this thread

This is RIDICULOUS! I don't know how anyone is managing to post. I have been trying, on and off, for an hour, in amongst doing other things, and tghis is the first time I have managed to open a thread! SO slow, pages won't load, the top part loads, but not the posting box...

Not again! Please, please, MN, sort it out. It's totally unusable, seriously.

Hi, we are working on it. Problem is that the Proper Fix® for this is quite complicated so will take a few days to get done. In the meantime we are taking some Other Steps? to try alleviate the problem.

Grrr Tech - you've worked out how to put ASCII characters in postings - I've forgotten how to do it!

Hi Woof, no, I'm in the the UK this week visiting. Sitting on a train now, between London and Manchester. These virgin trains are very nice actually. I'm rather impressed.
