MN slow?

Anyone else having problems with MN loading today?

Its worse than ever

This is driving me mad...................Its incredibly slow. I have to keep pressing the refresh button!!!

Have spent half an hour trying to open MN on my pc without success. Can get it on my phone though.

Have HQ said whats wrong? Its seems to be fine for 10 minutes then I spend half an hour trying to load a page.

Voidka, I'm exactly the same. I noticed this thread but couldn't get into it - it was taking ages to load. I've just gotten in through a link in Chat really quickly.

I think I might have to give up for tonight. I don't have the patience to sit for 10 minutes waiting for a board to open.

Um... I appear to be able to do stuff - like post, but it is Slowy McSlowdum who lives in Slowdumshire and apparently it's still waiting to load this page

This is a real PITA. Its just taken me 10mins to get to this page.

I keep getting blank white pages (or sometimes just the top of the MN page) whilst the little circle thing goes round..and round...and round.... implying that the page is loading. But it doesn't

It's so slow that there is no point in MNing at all tonight.

Why haven't MNHQ come on to explain this today?

Can anyone say if there's a specific ad that's loading when the site does load?

Tonight, from about 6 o'clock, it's been whenever I tried to load Active Convos, Primary Ed or Threads I'm On, etc - anything I want to do, basically. It's slightly better right now, but has been unusable for most of the evening.

Haven't noticed any ads in particular, but that would be because most of the time the page hasn't loaded enough to see any adverts.

It's like a Dial up connection from the nineties!

Ditto what Feenie said ... it's basically trying to do anything, it hangs or half loads or just blank white page and that's active convos, refresh, I'm on. It improves a little then locks for 10 minutes.

Having the same issues as Feenie. Is it a virus?

same here - i was going to actually ask if there is a reason why fb always loads fast but mn is rubbish?

Hi, Sorry you're having troubles with slow responses. We are looking at it currently.

It's still running really slow for me - it's really hit and miss. Sometimes, like now, it's fine, but others it takes absolutely ages to load a page, and even then it doesn't do it properly. I keep having to refresh.

Its the same for me ,it runs fine for a few minutes then slows down again
