I'm sorry to have to break it to you, but there is definitely a gender discrimination thing going on here. Some of you will have noticed that I have been repeatedly accused of being anti-feminist, that I have repeatedly been accused of being that sad little prick from facebook. That I have been called various names. You've probably also noticed that I haven't broken a single rule, I've not personally called any member a name, or posted anything nasty towards any individual. But I've now had two accounts banned, I've had posts deleted. I've had an entire thread deleted, because I dared to create a post calling into question whether this site is operating a gender discriminationj policy towards men.

You'll note the published policy about trolls:
Unfortunately, it's not always immediately obvious whether a poster is, in fact, a troll. We all tend to be a bit suspicious of new folks posting things of a sensitive or inflammatory nature, but we would rather Mumsnet erred on the side of giving folks the benefit of the doubt and risked being made to look a bit foolish than pounce on someone who turns out to be genuinely in need of help. We hope you agree.

I'm afraid that's not true, in reality the women can go around making all sorts of nasty personal remarks about the men, but even if a man (such as me) stays within the rules, and doesn't make nasty personal remarks he will be banned should he dare to say something the women object to.

I am living proof of this.

I have been banned twice without the administrators of this site having a single piece of evidence to support their claims of me being a troll. You've seen me repeatedly ask the women making that accusation against me to show some evidence from any one of my post that in anyway demonstrates me behaving like a troll on this board. They have completely failed to do so. I have asked via email, and only received a response which basically says that because I stated that I didn't care about what any women thinks or feels... in direct response to a woman breaking the rules and making yet another unfounded allegation against me, that the administrators 'feel' I 'might' be a troll.

That's their reason for banning me... despite there being nothing in any post of mine which constitutes trolling behaviour towards any other member of this board.

Expect this thread to be deleted completely, in line with their attempts to hide away from the membership the truth of how they are operating gender based discrimination on this site.

This account will undoubtedly be banned and I shall be back to point this out all over again... until the administrators of this site have the decency to show some honesty and admit that this is exactly how this site is being operated to the membership.

Here's another question: we renovated our whole house some 3 years ago. How long after having it trashed by 4 boys do we have to do it all again? The walls in the hall and the stair case are just shocking... far too many ride-on toys in this house

mylittleponypinkypie · 28/08/2011 21:57

My floor also looks like 100 very sick ferrets vomited over it, after eating liquorice X)
I like liquorice, but my mum used to buy salty stuff to stop me and my db eating it (its popular in europe apparently, when she used to go for work) I just washed the salt off in the end...it was like tangfastics, only salt instead of sugar and liquorice instead of gummy stuff
I went off on a tangent there, but I think liquorice is lovely :)

deepfriedcupcake · 28/08/2011 21:57

Oh thank goodness, I was starting to think I'd have to shave that little bugger that keeps pooing in the flower bed. If it's just fashion then I'm happy to be off-trend, as usual.

ThePathanKhansWoman · 28/08/2011 21:57

Has he put his Gimp mask back on then Rowan?

Bet his walls are nice pale hospital green.

MmeLindor. · 28/08/2011 21:58

"Just a quick note to say that, while ManicGeek is currently unable to speak for himself, we don't have any reason to think that he is behind MumsnetSucks."

Currently unable? Have you got him tied up in MN Towers, Rowan?

SpringHeeledJack · 28/08/2011 22:00

they're all sitting on him and he's got a Boden catalogue stuffed in his mouth

mmmmmffff! MMMMMMMFFFFF!

PacificDogwood · 28/08/2011 22:02

stripey, sorry I missed your earlier post. Yes, my friend married well Grin

I think she got money back.

ThePathanKhansWoman · 28/08/2011 22:03

Ha! Forced to bake Fairy Cakes in the Tower.Grin

AbsDuWolef · 28/08/2011 22:05

Can you bring him back so he can describe his living room decor? It's only fair.

I'm imagining, magnolia walls, scruffy sofa and genuine emtpy pizza box accessories

PacificDogwood · 28/08/2011 22:06

No, no, I like the idea of hospital-green walls.
Do F&B do hospital-green, I wonder?

deepfriedcupcake · 28/08/2011 22:06

Ooh, maybe that's what he needs, maybe we could redesign his living room for him so he's not so grumpy?

MmeLindor. · 28/08/2011 22:08

F&B's hospital colour would be Clinique de Vert

deepfriedcupcake · 28/08/2011 22:08

I think the lovely pink & black licorice wallpaper from earlier, and this lovely bobbly blue licorice allsort for the floor.

giyadas · 28/08/2011 22:08

Abs -with the exception of my hideous salmon-coloured wall, you just summed up my living room.

SpringHeeledJack · 28/08/2011 22:09

Abs I'm seeing something more like <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=world+of+warcraft+south+park+guy&um=1&hl=en&sa=G&rls=com.microsoft:en-gb:IE-ContextMenu&rlz=1I7RNWN_en&biw=1440&bih=709&tbm=isch&tbnid=c5jA0cCZCF96jM:&imgrefurl=tom-freeman.blogspot.com/&docid=tFzBaAgMCJ50pM&w=417&h=321&ei=Nq5aTt-xCoSl8QO52tiiDA&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=147&page=1&tbnh=130&tbnw=174&start=0&ndsp=25&ved=1t:429,r:1,s:0&tx=100&ty=77" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">this

nenevomito · 28/08/2011 22:13

So red liquorice isn't.

That explains why I like it.

Whoever decorated our house did it using a design magazine written in the 90s. We're slowly de-floraling it.

SpringHeeledJack · 28/08/2011 22:13

clinique du vert

roffle roffle

deepfriedcupcake · 28/08/2011 22:13

And someone's even designed the new furniture for him too!

ThePathanKhansWoman · 28/08/2011 22:13

Grin Grin @ MmeLindor. Spot on with Farrow and Ball. Brilliant.

Right i'm orf to stalk Tethers for those pictures and make her an offer on the Quincy portrait.

AbsDuWolef · 28/08/2011 22:14

Best. South. Park. Ever

Apart from the hippie one.

I'm seeing, RED LIQOURICE feature wall with genuine cat hair covered accessories. I also feel that I need to make something out of mdf .... MN logo feature wall!

OTheHugeRaveningWolef · 28/08/2011 22:16

I think the OP's living room is probably Laura Ashley as well - but infrequently visited by the OP, whose mum prefers to keep it nice for guests so encourages the OP to play on the computer in the games room.

groak · 28/08/2011 22:16

if he's painted his room with farrow & ball it has to be hamsters breath Grin

PacificDogwood · 28/08/2011 22:18

It was fun, ladies, I bid you good night.

OneMoreChap · 28/08/2011 22:18

JackTheNipper
I like men posting here, you get a diferent POV which adds variety.

I hope that's the case :-)

To say that male posters are singled out and shouted down is doown right insulting. But I dare say that that was the aim of your post in the first place?

FWIW I think the OP is a prune... but depending upon where you post, I've certainly felt shouted down, put upon insulted, lied about by some posters.

Hastily adding, by a minority, and I have received PMs and support to carry on posting - so I shall.

And no, MNHQ don't seem to discriminate against men.

deepfriedcupcake · 28/08/2011 22:18

Just in case he needs somewhere a little more padded when he comes back, reads all the posts, writes something predictable and gets kicked off again, there's always this. Should be nice and safe.
