Rather than a separate topic, can you not just ask for a Hide button on the mobile and iphone apps? That would be handy.

I can hide this thread by clicking at the top of the thread ( bit where it says flip/refresh/watch thread etc.) I am on my iPhone, but don't have/need the mn app.
