You can't hide threads on phones and tbh I can't keep up with them.

How are they upsetting you if you can't hide them? It is one line of title amongst many others!

IngridBergmann · 25/02/2011 15:50

The only ones I detest are the pesh and besh lot and that's slightly irrational of me; I put it down to PTSD.

they are all in conception and ante natal and post natal so I could hide a few at least.

bellavita · 25/02/2011 15:50

Hmmm OP you are obviously a namechanger and know me as you called me bella rather than my full name. Shiney, is that you being mischievous?

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 25/02/2011 15:50

YouGo - so if you go and hide them now.......they still show up on your i-phone? Really

I don't have an i-phone - just a bog standard WAP enabled whatsit. But whenever I log in on it any threads I've hidden are still hidden when I use my phone Confused

Tiffany - how's the working going?

YouGoGlennCoco · 25/02/2011 15:50

Could we merge them?

I bad crapnparents AND can't clean a 3 bed semi

OR I buy clothes and like 4 letter acronyms?

OP posts:
bellavita · 25/02/2011 15:50

Actually, Shiney wouldn't lol so scrap that idea right away Grin

YouGoGlennCoco · 25/02/2011 15:51

I think thatsbthe way to go.

OP posts:
BaroqueAroundTheClock · 25/02/2011 15:52

Crap typing - laughing at 6yrs being a newbie - it's got to be the fishy one Grin

YouGoGlennCoco · 25/02/2011 15:52

Maybe if the porkers got in with the cleaners they'd be too busy to eat?

OP posts:
BaroqueAroundTheClock · 25/02/2011 15:53

well you'd have thought that if the cleaners got in with the insomniacs they'd be able to sleep - but I tried that one and it didn't work Hmm

YouGoGlennCoco · 25/02/2011 15:53

Lol. I can hide on iPad but then when on phone the little beggars pop up again. NEW ones

OP posts:
bellavita · 25/02/2011 15:54

Surely you can hide the same threads on your i-pad, i-phone and laptop all at once?

YouGoGlennCoco · 25/02/2011 15:54

Lol at baroque. Maybe the sad people can get in with the shiny lot as they seem to be found funny. Mainly by themselves but hey ;)

OP posts:
BaroqueAroundTheClock · 25/02/2011 15:54

well you just need to come on more often than about once a month then - as really the long running threads (I'm not going to call them cliquey as I don't think most of them are) only re-start once a month at most usually.

NettoSuperstar · 25/02/2011 15:55

I sometimes bold a poster's name, so they can see I am addressing them.

I don't mind the threads at all, I really don't, it would make sense that they had a topic though.

Also, I don't have an Iphone, or pad, just a PC, and I still find they can sometimes dominate active, and it's a pain to have to hide them constantly.

IngridBergmann · 25/02/2011 15:56

I am overjoyed, all conception, ante natal and post natal are now blissfully obscured.

Bring on the NEW active conversations Smile

BaroqueAroundTheClock · 25/02/2011 15:57

but it wouldn't make sense if they had a seperate topic as they're in the relevant topics right now Confused

i don't get why i hide certain threads on my computer and they still pop up a day or so later-does the hiding thing stop working when they drop out of active convos and then get back in?

OnlyWantsOne · 25/02/2011 16:00

if its all soooo annoying, then, AIBU to suggest not coming on MN?

[runs away and puts washing on]

YouGoGlennCoco · 25/02/2011 16:00

I'm sure I've already tried to hide the peeing husband. and there it is again.

Maybe I didn't.

Oh well.

TIO is annoying me though, everything is by latest activity and most of them are a week old and long abandoned. I can't get it to stay in 'my latest post' order.

Any tips?
