Unwelcome visitors - and recent "unpopular" threads

Hello

We thought you should know that we've had a few "visitors" lately who have, collectively, been hellbent on stirring up bunfights on the boards.

They're not your average hairy trucker/bored schoolboy/silly perve but a group from another (now defunct, it seems) forum.

They were behind the Unpopular Opinions thread - and a fair few other threads that have kicked off recently.

We're on the case.

But we would appreciate your help with "Hoovering" up any visitors our Ban button may have missed.

So do report any suspicions using the Report link, and we promise to check 'em out - though it make take us a while

Many thanks, MNHQ

tigana, obviously you were thinking of a very intelligent post of mine, high brow.

tigana · 09/02/2011 23:04

yup, that's the one!

Tortington · 09/02/2011 23:05

theres this ice thingy i think its scholl that you can buy from the chemist - but honestly, i don't know if id use it on my face

Aitch · 09/02/2011 23:05

just the one... Wink

earwicga · 09/02/2011 23:05

Thanks BluddyMoFo - these have led from child trying to bite off one on thumb that has been there for years. Some just never go.

Warts really are 'unwelcome visitors'.

Aitch · 09/02/2011 23:07

i know that people tape banana peel to verruccas with duct tape. now, that might not sound immediately helpful however it is something i might consider trying on a person's face, at least at night.

earwicga · 09/02/2011 23:07

I wouldn't even try SuperCusty - not after the doc attacked his face with the stuff at the surgery.

Yes please catinthehat2 :)

earwicga · 09/02/2011 23:08

Aitch - the thought of that makes me laugh. Will defo try it.

Thingumy · 09/02/2011 23:10

BOF-you ain't very forthcoming with your bong sharing!

I'd like a very hard toke on it ( and I'm not even worried about the risk of a whitey at this present moment)

penelopestitsdropped · 09/02/2011 23:10

really? Banana skins?

is there some sort of weird sciency theory behind it or just slight madness?

Aitch · 09/02/2011 23:12

i don't know but i have seen heaps of people recommend it on here. combo of fruit acids and a way of keeping area damp, maybe?

bullet234 · 09/02/2011 23:13

Banana skins are supposed to be good for removing warts. However, how you could attach it to a face is not so easy.

bullet234 · 09/02/2011 23:14

Sorry, cross posted with Aitch.

Aitch · 09/02/2011 23:14

yes, cos now i'm wondering if you would have to keep it there 24/7?

earwicga · 09/02/2011 23:14

I did do a search on here because I was sure that the holy grail of wart removal would have been revealed on the boards somewhere, but didn't find anything.

Anyway, sorry for the hijack!

Tortington · 09/02/2011 23:14

cellotape

weblette · 09/02/2011 23:15

Duct tape? That's supposed to work too, you could use it to stick the banana on just in case...

Tortington · 09/02/2011 23:16

how to stick banana to your face

earwicga · 09/02/2011 23:16

My son is going to think I am even madder than I am when he wakes up with banana skins duct taped to his chin Grin

earwicga · 09/02/2011 23:17

Thank you very much SuperCusty - that looks great.

weblette · 09/02/2011 23:17

Better safe than sorry earwicga Grin
