Hi all, Pebbles...thinking of you xxhugsxx

mangopassionfruitshake · 30/06/2009 09:49

Yep, can probably find someone to ship something, but I was thinking we could have the use of it while in the UK and save some cash this way.

God, they're all expensive, aren't they?

Disenchanted3 · 30/06/2009 09:49

Oh dear pebbles (((hugs)))

mangopassionfruitshake · 30/06/2009 09:50

pebbles... sorry to hear that, hope you're okay

lillypie · 30/06/2009 10:08

pebbles we will all be thinking of you xxx

pebbles79 · 30/06/2009 10:11

I've been having real problems with my monthlies, short cycle, very heavy and lasting 10 days. They were hoping to just lazer my womb but I had a scan and it showed too much thinning after my c-sections and also that my bladder is fused to my cervix so it would be too dangerous to go ahead with that procedure and the only other option is hysterectomy.

More scared about the recovery time and being away from my kids whilst I'm in hospital.

lecohen · 30/06/2009 10:15

so sorry pebbles...may I ask how many c-secs you have had? x

pebbles79 · 30/06/2009 10:21

I've had 3 - two emergency and one elective.

lecohen · 30/06/2009 10:24

oh gosh...poor you, hope you are in good spirits x

FlyMeToDunoon · 30/06/2009 11:12

Oh my goodness Pebbles. My neighbour had a hysterectomy a few months ago. She was very well almost straight away but was signed off work for months. It is a long recovery time. It will be difficult with smal children I am guessing, all that lifting and bending. you will have MN to help you recover.

Lol, I'm hoping they have WiFi in the hospital and I can take my laptop

Disenchanted3 · 30/06/2009 11:29

Yeyyyyy,

they will pack infinity, being collected tomorrow

Disenchanted3 · 30/06/2009 11:30

Have they given you a date pebbles? Will you have help at home after?

carrielou2007 · 30/06/2009 11:31

Gosh, 29? You are young to recover from it but it is a big op. Not sure about taking your laptop in - it might get pinched!! What a true mn addict!!

maxybrown · 30/06/2009 11:38

Bum has anone heard of a zooper?

Disenchanted3 · 30/06/2009 11:39

zooper, rings a bell... what is it?

pebbles79 · 30/06/2009 11:42

Said it'll be a few months away. DH should hopefully be able to get some special/compassionate leave from work to help me recover as doubt I'll manage the school run etc.

maxybrown · 30/06/2009 11:43

I daren't tell you.....you might pinch it from me....lol. (I like to milk things ) Ha ha ha haha.

No, it's a 3 wheeler....hang on this is it,here Have asked if they'd pack it. Don't know if it's any good? Wouldn't be all time use though.

maxybrown · 30/06/2009 11:44

Pebbles DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT THE SCHOOL RUN OMG!!!! My friend had one. She is a bit older than you, but not old IYSWIM and she really took it easy and was fine. please be careful.

pebbles79 · 30/06/2009 11:49

FlyMeToDunoon · 30/06/2009 12:38

nicolamumof3 · 30/06/2009 12:38

back home and inspected first wheels, its immaculate v.happy got a bargain there!
now to sell off bits i don't need...

maxybrown · 30/06/2009 12:40

Dunoon, you not happy with infinity?

How you feeling Nicola?

FlyMeToDunoon · 30/06/2009 12:43

Oh goody Nicola. Dibs for me somewhere in the queue.
Infinity is ok it is just a tad rickety. Maybe that is just the way they are but others have said that thaey have no movement in the handle like mine does. Handle has splits, rusty bits etc. Shouldn't be moaning but nice to have 'immaculate' as Nicola will testify.
