Hi all hope you find it and this is the first.

OP posts:
nicolamumof3 · 30/06/2009 12:55

i feel awful still, v.wobbly and shaky not right at all. i haven't eaten properly for days, terry took me for breakfast when he picked me up thought that might 'sort me out' but no i feel awful still.

just put seat unit on first. v.small nick to underside of foam handle. it just seems huge to me as im used to my little maclaren quest. it does need a clean over, but i like the simple design easy fold, easy to click seat in/off. i will have to wait til im feeling better to test drive.

BexieID · 30/06/2009 13:10

maxy - I'm pretty sure nappyaddict had a Zooper.

nicola - hope you're feeling better sooon. I still haven't sent you those PJs as there were marks on it, but I can't get them out. Would you like a shot at getting them out? I'll just send them to you if you want, or they are going to clothing recycle!

pebbles - sorry to hear about you're upcoming op. Just take it easy afterwards. Do you have anyone to help with school run?

I'm worried about not feeling ok getting Tom to nursery if I have an elective section. Although I do drive, but the car is a 5 min walk away from our flat, which is a PITA! Not like I can chuck the kids in and go! I didn't drive for almost 3 weeks after I had Tom, as didn't feel upto it, and that wasn't a section!

nicolamumof3 · 30/06/2009 13:16

bexie, why will you need a section? you will find it easier having your second generally coping afterwards, i know before having luka i really panicked what life would be like but he was an easy baby and we found a routine really quickly. they are usually more easy going as they have to fit into your life not the other way round.

what are the marks like on pj's? I don't really need them now tbh as he's wearing shortie ones remind me what age were they?

Got my orange comfort pack for quest but don't like it on there! not having much luck atm with ebay bought some brand new startrite tumbles and they don't fit tate. but by the time you return this stuff its not worth it!!

BexieID · 30/06/2009 13:43

I had a 3rd degree tear with Tom and they are worried i'll tear again and it may leave me doubly incontinent.

The marks are whitish I think. Will need to have a look. They are 3t in size. I don't have any stain remover, although could soak the top in napisan. Or give it to MIL for a shot at getting rid of stains. She has a whole arsenal of stuff in her cupboards, lol.

BexieID · 30/06/2009 13:48

Startrite shoes are half a size smaller than Clarks? I've bought 2 pairs (8f and 8.5f) and Tom won't wear them. DP thinks they aren't wide enough, so width must be different to Clarks as well. Hoping weather will be nice on Sunday, then we can goto the Startrite shop at Loch Lomond shores and goto the park there for a picnic after.

maxybrown · 30/06/2009 13:55

Startrite are bigger than clarks....so you generally need half a size smaller.....if that makes sense? DS has always been a half size behind in Startrite but have always found the width the same. No matter where I go, they never measure his feet properly. Drives me mad. I had a clarks gauge once and stupidly sold it grrrr. The startrite ones they sell on their website are rubbish. 3 of us have measured his feet and it always tells us he is an E fit!!!! They told me last time he was a kind of (??) F....from a H fit!!! Can't even get his foot. into an F unless I go up a full size!
Sorry....went off on one then!!

nicolamumof3 · 30/06/2009 13:55

i know they come up smaller so i bought a 9f but they are just too wide for Tate he is quite narrow an E or F fitting normally but these are huge, such a shame as lovely little shoes i've got so many brand new sandals that i bought in the hope they will fit and they don't

Disenchanted3 · 30/06/2009 14:10

My com pack came too, Im unsure about it aswell! lol The orange just isn't the same and it looks a bit out of place?!

Have left it on,

Am thining I should have gotten that XT now ... hmmm

Disenchanted3 · 30/06/2009 14:16

HELP

Can anyone please find me a photo of the heartbreaker carrycot, tried google, ebay, ebay completed,

can't find one anywhere,

I wanna see what its like.

BexieID · 30/06/2009 14:17

Buying shoes for Tom does my head in, lol. He won't wear sandals either. Maybe I should get him some Doodles?

claret1980 · 30/06/2009 14:27

I got ds1 some doodes as they were on sale in clarks, he seems to like them.

5inthebed · 30/06/2009 14:41

Glad First Wheels is in good condition Nicola. Shame you're not feeling well enough to test drive it though

Its so hot here today, but overcast. Really muggy and humid as well. Can't win with this weather.

nicolamumof3 · 30/06/2009 14:42

doodles are fab, thats what im selling bexie in 9f if any good to you?

right im off to paddling pool

maxybrown · 30/06/2009 14:54

DIS - here

Disenchanted3 · 30/06/2009 14:56

Yey, thanks maxy

its cute, shame DD is almost 7 months.

BexieID · 30/06/2009 15:01

nicola - I would need 8.5f in Clarks. Yours are Startrite ones though? If I goto the Startrite shop at the weekend and they say Toms a 9f i'll have yours.

Tom measured an 8f in Clarks last week but I think hes an 8.5. I did get him a BN pairs of Clarks trainers off ebay in 8.5f. Just need him to try them on.

maxybrown · 30/06/2009 15:04

My Silver Cross one was huge Ds was in it as a carrycot way past one!

sammysamsam · 30/06/2009 15:07

really quick question- thought of posting on 'pushchair' sale thread but don't think it'd fit..

I've finally gotten around (mentally) on agreeing to sell the XT..and there was a 'wanted' ad for an XT in the local paper which I replied to- anyway, when i first started thinking abt it, I wanted £110 (2008model, in I'd say, pretty good nick)anyway, she offered £70 and I said 'no- I'd go down to £100' no leass.. anyway, she had noted down my number from the caller Id (I don't mind at all- it's not like i 'witheld' it) and called me out the blue today about 6 days later. Said she had upped her offer to £80.

Now I'm thinking, shall I sell for £90. I don't want to-but I don't wanna be over-doing my price and it ends up with no interest..

saw this for £110 + £15 postage that sold on fleabaybut saying that it'd cost about £15 in fees + another £10.50 postage-is that right??!-woah, thats £25 gone already if im doing this correctly?!!! What du think I should do- bearing in mind, my wheels do show some wear (little pitts- not flattening etc due to too much use) but the rest is absolutely fine..

How much should I ask for it!?

sammysamsam · 30/06/2009 15:09
5inthebed · 30/06/2009 15:09

I'd say £90 was pretty decent for a 2008 XT.

FlyMeToDunoon · 30/06/2009 15:19

I am very tempted by this but worried about courier sosts for the whole. Wouls sell all the bits I didn't need. What does everyone think before it goes

OP posts:
5inthebed · 30/06/2009 15:24

I wouldn't get that, have read nothing but bad things about that pram.

FlyMeToDunoon · 30/06/2009 15:26

But it says made by hauck and identical to the infinity?

OP posts:
Disenchanted3 · 30/06/2009 15:29

unoosk them to just tape the infinity chassis seat & carrycot all together as one and booked collection send it now (no dimensions asked) so 11.99.

lecohen · 30/06/2009 15:29

that looks good Fly...you could ask the seller to try to package either together or in 2 parcels at most - If you use lowcostparceldelivery you can send it for £7 per parcel but you should just check their size limits (prob better in 2 parcels)
