Does anyone know if you can take the Dazzle covers off and wash them?

Also has anyone had a Combi Dash DX, Bebecar Rversus or Inglesina Ottuto?

Sawyer reading that back I realise that could sound like I'm being sarcastic - not at all what I meant - I'm sorry, I hate ebay, much prefer to buy and sell on here

FlyMeToDunoon · 22/03/2009 20:23

Carrielou

Hopi just make sure you order two clips as the listing I bought mine off was for one and I had to pay postage again for the second one.

Jane nest sold!

lillypie · 22/03/2009 20:28

carrielou2007 · 22/03/2009 20:43

Stop it Lillypie you'll set me off again

Hopi - weird I have just bought a zapp but it is pink and I think yours was purple...I only bought it as it came with matching footmuff which dd will be big for so will sell it for say 20 pounds then it will only have cost me 45 as only 25 miles from me!!

I really must sell the dreaded triumph now!!! Xt, volo and zapp, that must be me done!!

Hopi · 22/03/2009 20:54

Nice one carrie That is the sort of deal that I like!

I've sold 3 pushchairs today, I've got 1 left (apart from those that I am keeping) Just said to DH that it is weird that the expensive ones have sold on the same day I listed them but the cheapie one I have up for sale has got loads of watchers but not a sniff!

Disenchanted3 · 22/03/2009 21:26

Hi Nicola

apples is still here, unused!

I don't know what to do with it. DS needs a stroller and the bee is pink so he cant go in that.

Maybe I'll sell the apples and buy a black/jkhaki or red bee hood? then he can go in it.

pebbles79 · 22/03/2009 21:58

Sold my heartbreaker covers on ebay and buyer hasn't paid or been in touch! Surely if you buy something that's listed as a BIN but can't pay straightaway you should at least message them to let them know when to expect payment? I've sent an invoice and a message to them but still nothing, need to get a courier organised and can't do it until they've paid.

nicolamumof3 · 22/03/2009 22:35

dis need to check paypal funds, i really am interested in apples quest and need an umbrella fold for trip to london on Thursday. am watching a breen zapp too, decisions, decisions. But also thinking should i just get a cheapy volo...aaaah!

SparklyGothKat · 22/03/2009 23:01

I am still wait for payment for a cam chassis and wheels I sold on the 14th! The buyer is in Austia and sending a 'moneyletter' whatever that is!?? She said I can cash it in the UK. I have emailed her tonight to ask if its been sent. Its for £110 and I could really do with the cash atm.. grrr

BexieID · 22/03/2009 23:18

MrsM - thats the one! Think the white bits might get dirty quick though?

Sweetkitty - want to goto the Fort. Finally made in to Toysrus today! I see you went today to, but I know there is one at Parkhead as well. We went to the one off junc 24. If you went to that one and saw one very confused looking mum and dad in the bike section with one little boy happily playing in ride on cars, that was us, lol.

BexieID · 22/03/2009 23:49

We ended up getting this for Toms b/day in 3 weeks time!

nappyaddict · 23/03/2009 00:34

Is it true that you can't battery powered cars and electric scooters on pavements?

MrsMagooo · 23/03/2009 07:13

Bexie that fabric is so lush IRL, Lucy did a gorgeous Zapp liner & hood in it. I don't think it'll get dirty that quickly - such a lovely fabric.

Hopi · 23/03/2009 07:58

Morning all

Got a morning of packaging up pushchairs ahead of me!!!! Have a small dilema though, The Toro is HUGE!!!!! I can't find a courier to take it for less than a pallett price of £100 Any ideas? Part of the problem is that I need extra insurance because of the value Would I be better to send it as 2 parcels (carrycot and pushchair)?

Who do you use for your large high value items?

nicolamumof3 · 23/03/2009 08:00

i still use www.senditnow.com they don't ask any dimensions just weight only. standard comp up to £150 then you can buy extra hth hopi!

FlyMeToDunoon · 23/03/2009 08:05

Morning all.
Gosh I feel positively rejuvenated by my day off.
Back to reality. The chicken dishes are waiting to get into the dishwasher.

My small understairs cupboard is so empty now-buggyboard, jane nest, liners, rain covers, sun shades etc all gone over the last few months.
It feels good to have it cleared and I have my Poshbugs liner still to look forward to.

Hopi · 23/03/2009 08:37

Thanks nicola, that is a bit more reasonable than parcel2go even though they use the same service. Daft huh?

pebbles79 · 23/03/2009 08:45

Hopi I use Freightsearch, it helps you find the cheapest one.

sweetkitty · 23/03/2009 08:49

Morning all DD2 woke up crying with a sore tummy so no nursery for us this morning, I'm not feeling that great either.

hopi - thats great you sold loads of prams, I used senditnow on nicola's recommendations for the P&T last week, it was quite a big heavy box too, as it was worth more than £150 I paid the £10.99 standard charge and an extra £12 for compensation up to £500. Delivery all went fine.

Bexie - we went to the Parkhead ToysRUs it's at the right side of Glasgow for us, love the Quad bike, DD2 was hankering after a Dora bike I have said if she can actually "go" a bike she might get it. DD1 was wandering about with yet another doll, told her she might get it for her birthday.

Nicola - get the apples Quest

I daren't think about anymore prams until I get tehe bunkbeds sorted out and I have a holiday and birthdays coming up so I think it will be about August before I can think about a Zapp

pebbles79 · 23/03/2009 08:57

Morning all, I've got a morning of packing up pram bits too! Got my infinity covers and footmuff to pack and the bagabottle for lilypie. Feel awful as well, have got mastitis and feeling sorry for myself! Was supposed to have a hospital appointment this morning and had to phone up and cancel, got a right moody receptionist and the earliest new appointment they could give me is the 29th June!!!
