Does anyone know if you can take the Dazzle covers off and wash them?

Also has anyone had a Combi Dash DX, Bebecar Rversus or Inglesina Ottuto?

Disenchanted3 · 21/03/2009 12:41

I cant find anything i like, wanted to cheer myself up with new changebag, but everythings crap or too expensive

nicolamumof3 · 21/03/2009 13:03

im going to get a volo me thinks. now shall i go black lime, or the new 09 colours??

MrsMagooo · 21/03/2009 13:40

I hope Cherry gets in touch soon, desperate to get a red Kaiser in time to use next week as weathers supposed to turn crap agin.

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/03/2009 14:36

I wasn't keen on the light hoods of the new volos although they look very nice in real life. You could probably protect them form the wheels when folding with just a carrier bag or summat.

Must get out into that sunshine now. Lazy.

nicolamumof3 · 21/03/2009 15:09

i can't decide what one to get dunoon or whether i should just go for it and get apples quest?! i need to raise some more funds tho for that!

Hopi · 21/03/2009 15:45

Afternoon all

Have just come inside as the sun has gone in now. Charlotte and I spent the afternoon cleaning up the Bee ready for the baby. The covers have been in the wash and the frame is now sparkling clean I still love it, think my days as a pramaholic are well and truly over

I'm not sure whether to get a baby nest for it or whether to get a few funky liners. Baby is due 7th July so can't work out if a baby nest will be OTT or not. I'm also going to get some bag clips and a cup holder and then that is me done....

...will an orange changing bag go with a red buggy? Might have to swap that too now....!!!!

Hubby just said that it is never ending with me, there is always something else

nicolamumof3 · 21/03/2009 16:03

of course hopi! so glad you are liking it x

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/03/2009 17:20

Don't know about baby nests. Will have a google.
Nicola can you go somewhere where you can compare side by side to decide. Or is just looks?

Have both! no no no.
Maybe!

Useless me.

nicolamumof3 · 21/03/2009 17:33

now i've got zapp back into equation too!! its only for car, babyvalue hav the one i love in breen. but the sensible choice would prob be maclaren. we would only use it if travelling to london say (v.rare) and to keep in car being as i walk most places may be used once a week max. also for long days out when we need a buggy for tired tate.

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/03/2009 17:33

Ok thoughts on baby nest-
It would be good in a pushchair like the bee which is not enclosed like a carrycot.
It would give that little extra bit of protection.
it gives a bit more support.
Baby doesn't need to be wearing much inside so heat might not be too much of a problem.
Would add value when selling or,
Could sell when not needed [and buy something else!]
If top zips off [which I couldn't find out] then still gives the support without the heat.

Basically I would go for it.

nicolamumof3 · 21/03/2009 17:40

i think i would be tempted too, but only looked at a bee v.briefly must admit.

Hopi · 21/03/2009 17:51

Thank you! Think you may have convinced me Now I need to decide whether to get a Poshbugs one or a Chunkle Munkle one

FlyMeToDunoon · 21/03/2009 17:56

aren't you going to get a bugaboo bee baby nest?

Hopi · 21/03/2009 18:01

Too boring! I want a funky one
Plus they are about half the price of the genuine ones...

carrielou2007 · 21/03/2009 18:22

Hi all. Hopi I would defo get a nest as there is no other end so to speak on the bee so should make him/her feel nice and cosy. If the nest is like the footmuff then you can unzip either size if it gets too hot.

Lots of lovely sunshine (bit too much sunglasses broke and now have bit of a headache) and lots of walking.

Just get home at 5pm and had to go on mercy dash my daft brother-in-law ran out of petrol on the motorway. The police got there before me and were really really stern - quite right, hard shoulder more dangerous than the lanes. Then he turned to me and said that's a really nice car (he was very good looking I was hoping my luck was in!!)

pebbles79 · 21/03/2009 18:25

Hopi, I think a Chunkle Munkle one would probably arrive earlier than a Poshbugs one. I know Heather at Poshbugs has a huge waiting list normally.

nicolamumof3 · 21/03/2009 18:29

lol carrielou!

zapp or maclaren, zapp or maclaren...whadya think?

sweetkitty · 21/03/2009 18:38

Just googled Bugaboo Bee nest too I would definitely get one too, make her all nice and cosy, DD3 was a July baby last year and the weather was so bad definitely needed her P&T cocoon. Which colour do you have Hopi?

Nicola - oh just get both lol I definitely want a Zapp will have to wait though

lillypie · 21/03/2009 18:46
