Does anyone know if you can take the Dazzle covers off and wash them?

Also has anyone had a Combi Dash DX, Bebecar Rversus or Inglesina Ottuto?

Thanks Hopi, at work at the mo (can finally get on here sometimes if I am using my dongle!!) so will try to order it tonight!!

Lillypie you should've bought my pink triumph rather than the quest

Now all the pink accessories I have bought will have to go and will buy black or lime green ones for the new buggy!!!!!

sweetkitty · 19/03/2009 11:42

Insertwitty - just got your e-mail, right theres a grey clip one on side of the frame, push it in and at the same time unfold the pram. I know what you mean though took me ages to learn how to fold and unfold it.

Hopi · 19/03/2009 12:18

Just got back from the school run to find that DHL had tried to deliver to me....it's the Bee!!!!! Yay! Only problem is that my car broke down at the school gates so I had to get a lift home...hubby coming home from work right away to try and sort it so we have to go out this afternoon to try to sort the car and also to try to source a new car as mine has been on the way out for a LONG time So Bee will have to wait at the depot for now.....boo.

MrsMagooo · 19/03/2009 12:35

YIPPEE!!!!! I finally have my BJCM

Got one of the bargain £65 ones from Argos, not black but hey at £65 I'm not arguing!!!!

nicolamumof3 · 19/03/2009 12:59

yey well done mrs.m! i know you so wanted one. i nearly got one but just don't like red/black so have had to resist the urge for a bargain!!

dis hope your bee is nice and hopi hope you don't wait too long for yours.

well lady just been back to collect and pay cash for luna so thats it, one pushchair family and i love it!

nappyaddict · 19/03/2009 13:43

SK - where are on the listing does it mention it comes with a bumper bar? Am i being blind cos I can't see it!!

If it was me I'd accept the part-refund and sell it on cos otherwise you'll lose out on sending it back to her. You might be able to get the black mark out and a free bumper bar before sending it on.

If she starts messing you about you can definitely open a dispute for not mentioning the faulty apron and mark on hood.

OP posts:
pebbles79 · 19/03/2009 14:24

I think it mentions that most of the pushchairs with the freedom harness have a bumper bar but it doesn't actually say that the Luna on the listing does.

MrsMagooo · 19/03/2009 16:29

A Poshbugs hood & Snunkie liner & footmuff will soon get rid of the red

Although the red is actually quite nice in the flesh!

I'd wanted one so long & at £65 I wasn't going to pass it up lol! A friend of mine has said I can buy her black covers if/when she sells too

sweetkitty · 19/03/2009 16:29

I wasn't really disputing the bumper bar I had already e-mailed her and asked if it had one. The main concerns I had were the wheels at the back are nearly completely worn and there were more scratches than she had put on the listing, oh and the zip which is definitely broken, she has come back and said the mark must have been in transit but has still offered me a refund.

I think I'm because it's just a number of wee things all put together. I have phoned M&P today and they have quoted me £8 for each wheel and £20 for the bumper bar, that's without the apron. I thought I was getting a bargain and really I paid £90 all in plus will probably have to buy the wheels and bumper bar that's £126 and I could have got a new one with all the accessories for £160. I feel crap about it now, things like this always happen to me.

nicolamumof3 · 19/03/2009 17:04

oh SK has she agreed to refund? i thought it was only £55...how much was the p&p??

sweetkitty · 19/03/2009 17:18

She has agreed to refund me some of the money £30 I think.

Luna £55, Bag £19.50 and postage £16

Just been looking on ebay as really want a bumper bar and someone on there has one for £15 + £2.50P&P, £20 new from M&P am going to keep an eye out but definitely getting new wheels.

Don't think I can afford a new one now

Disenchanted3 · 19/03/2009 17:23

Hiya,

beis here, tis really nice,

ye please carrie.

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/03/2009 17:25

Sweetkitty why don't you sell it and buy yourself a better one as has been suggested. You will get your £30 back from seller and perhaps £40 for the pushchair so you could have £70 to spend and you will have the bag already.

nicolamumof3 · 19/03/2009 17:33

glad you like your bee dis! x

sweetkitty · 19/03/2009 17:34

Dunoon - I could do but then I would have to say loads of wear to the wheels and broken zip on the apron which would make someone a bit IYSWIM?

sweetkitty · 19/03/2009 17:34

Oh missed Dis getting the Bee

nappyaddict · 19/03/2009 17:49

If you sell it in the paper then people can see it for themselves. I think a lot of people wouldn't mind for £40.

You can definitely get bumper bar free if you tell them you have a version 1 pushchair.

OP posts:
FlyMeToDunoon · 19/03/2009 17:51

Ah the art of ebay listing.
Well first of all you describe the wheels as having "wear consistent with use" and you photograph them accurately. Then people can make up their own minds.
Then you can either throw in the apron for free-described of course or mend it youself or leave it out completely.

nicolamumof3 · 19/03/2009 17:54

i too think people will pay £40 for it, have you checked ebay listings for luna v.1? i've heard different things about the bumper bar, i know they used to be free but have heard lately about it being £20??

im thinking of getting an m&p pulse!

pebbles79 · 19/03/2009 17:58

Or you can just sell the covers and hood, I know there's people out there that buy them. You could even sell the basket too and then sell the chassis for spare or repair.

FlyMeToDunoon · 19/03/2009 17:59

{grin]

grin]
What has brought that on?

sweetkitty · 19/03/2009 17:59

Thanks ladies don't know what to do now, I have bored you enough about with the Tales of the Luna I thought you weren't supposed to relist ebay purchases or am I way off?

Nicola - what happened to "we are a one pram family" pmsl

nappyaddict · 19/03/2009 18:09

You can definitely relist Ebay purchases!

OP posts:
nappyaddict · 19/03/2009 18:12

Nicola have you looked at the Cybex buggies on the M&P website. They are similar to the Pulse.

OP posts:
FlyMeToDunoon · 19/03/2009 18:27

Disenchanted Lecohen was interested in the buggy board on my original ad. I thought she was out because of the connectors and I didn't get new ones-seems she is still interested. So I am in a dilemma.

Can I sell it to her?
