It is really gorgeous and a complete bargain brand new at £63.00 but it seems a waste when I cant recline it

BexieID · 02/02/2009 16:40

According to the national rail site, DPs train is delayed. If he's not home by 5:15, i'll have to phone work and tell them i'll be late, as thats the latest I can leave factoring walking to/from car, snow and the roadworks.

1legmummy · 02/02/2009 16:43

There is a m&p pliko in boston check for £29.99 so would be about £40.00 delivered does that sound ok - the covers are going for more than that!!

nicolamumof3 · 02/02/2009 16:46

have you got link to it? sounds good to me?

1legmummy · 02/02/2009 16:48

hang on will get it

1legmummy · 02/02/2009 16:49

pliko

carrielou2007 · 02/02/2009 16:49

What a shame with such a bargain pushchair 1legmummy.

Black xt was fab today in the 'blizzard' raincover brillian and dd slept snuggly in her new footmuff, I'm finally working out what all the fuss is about with the xt's. The woman who owns a local baby shop (that is closed on a monday) spotted me and quizzed me about it as she only keeps a few quests and xlr's. Embarrassing when you are on first name terms due to so many purchases!!

Elmo it sounds as if Mr BM is keen to meet and he was prob as peed off as you at being stuck on the motorway and not being able to meet, give him one more go? Sorry your x is being crap, I don't get any maintence from dd dad though I do finally now get him to pay for half her childcare which is something.

nicolamumof3 · 02/02/2009 16:51

im glad you are now loving the xt carrielou! i can't wait to get a footmuff for mine. well i will get plenty of use out of it next week on hols. i love the raincover too!

1legmummy · 02/02/2009 16:51

getting nervous someone else will snap it up, not got raincover but that doesnt bother me. Also asked if I could arrange courier to keep costs down. Might just get it in the hope they agree

nicolamumof3 · 02/02/2009 16:58

i'd get it if you can arrange own courier as you can get courier for £8, looks nice, i had a boston check pramette. is the p3 just a pushchair then?

carrielou2007 · 02/02/2009 16:59

Ilegmummy I would get it as the slightly older p3 are quite a lot lighter in weight than the prammettes. I borrowed my sis p3 and bought a liner when dd was tiny and then bought a prammette and hated it as it was so much heavier.

1legmummy · 02/02/2009 16:59

I just bought it hope she lets me arrange courier!!

nicolamumof3 · 02/02/2009 17:03

did you get it? i see its sold already??

1legmummy · 02/02/2009 17:08

i got it! thanks just panicked it would sell as seemed good price.
Yes I have found that with the pramette - hence me selling my gorgeous cityscape one.
phew very relieved you all agree, must now say although I love pushchairs I just want one that I can use easily.

Might even sell my Mutsy!

lillypie · 02/02/2009 17:17

LOL I have a great mental picture of carrie trudging through the blizzard with her trusty XT while DD slept snug as a bug in a rug

nicolamumof3 · 02/02/2009 17:30

carrielou what pupabag have you got? is it the artic fox? just looking at their website

elmoandella · 02/02/2009 17:42

my benefits and things finally came through and cheque should be clearing any day now. but i owe so much to family i wont be keeping any of the back payment.

been msn-ing mr.BM since he came home. he says he had to cancel all his appointments as he had no idea when he would get anywhere.

the snow is really really bad here.i cant get back out if i wanted too. we are officially snowed in.

carrielou2007 · 02/02/2009 17:47

Yes Nicola it is that one, silvery colour looks fab on the xt and going to get the pink chinchilla one for more girly days. It seems well made and much longer than the buggysnuggle so should last me this winter.

The wolf buggysnuggle looked fantastic on it, but it was a bit too warm tbh dd was sweating a bit. Luckily the lady who bought it lives in Glasgow!!!

Lillypie if you could have seen me skidding along in my skijacket I felt like an artic explorer!!

nicolamumof3 · 02/02/2009 17:48

hi elmo, that is good that your benefits sorted. you will eventually get straight i know it seems a nightmare now, but you will.

glad you are now 'talking' to mr BM! hope that cheers you up.

snow has stopped here, hope it starts again so i don't have to go to work tomorrow!!!!

can't decide whether to get pupabag like carrielous or a stayput blanket??

elmoandella · 02/02/2009 17:48

mrsm - have you given up on a bjcm

MrsMagooo · 02/02/2009 17:56

Elmo I still definately want one, may hold off til next month though

Glad you're talking to Mr.BM

lillypie · 02/02/2009 17:57

I use a stayput blanket on my pop and it works well.I have a fleece stayput liner as well so it's still quite snuggly but really easy to get DD in and out of.

elmoandella · 02/02/2009 18:06

i want pics and reviews asap. lol.

i'm feeling a trip to SPC is in order soon to cheer me up. as long as i leave my purse at home.
