sal1309 · 09/02/2009 08:56

thats good nicola. annoying about about the xlr though

sal1309 · 09/02/2009 08:59

elmo good luck for today.

nicolamumof3 · 09/02/2009 09:09

yep im getting more worried about it now than annoyed, as i've got something to see my through my hols and i quite like it. i am worried that either i won't get it and will have to start paypal dispute or it will turn up somewhere whilst im on hols or if its returned to seller i will be charged re-delivery. just a little bit of communication goes a long way! learnt my lesson never buy on ebay again!!

DivamakesKimchi · 09/02/2009 10:40

morning, snow misty day here
showing shower later in the day, sounds very nice
who is everyone? im having trouble with ds, he wont eat at all last 2 days. he normally eats for england, now he only drinks and eats grapes, some yogurt thats it
i assume he is teething.

nicolamumof3 · 09/02/2009 10:42

O.M.G.....at last a response from xlr seller on ebay...what do you make of this.....

Hi Nicola...
I can only apologise and will expalin what has happened. A courier came to collect the parcel on Thursday and when i told him it wasn't ready (not at my house even, at the in-laws as they have more storage space!!!!)He was rude and told me a further courier wouldn't come Friday now he had been. So i immediately contacted DHL to confirm the booking and that collection would still happen on Friday....i was told, yes, i would be a priority collection so i waited in ALL day for collection, that as you may now guess, never happened. I am so angry and was unable to contact the DHL team until today (office hours Mon-Frid (9-5pm) but did email them too. I have just got off the phone, was offered a feable apology, told to wait in AGAIN today and it will be collected ASAP.... I can't do anything about it now, if i cancel the courier i loose my payment and if i also refund you and have to re-list on ebay i am further out of pocket so the pushchair is hopefully on its way to you and i have been told (again!!) it will be collected today and delivered tomorrow. I can give you detials of the parcel number and booking reference if you wish to track the parcel online??
I am so sorry, i am angry for you and angry with DHL believe me, they had a piece of my mind this morning!! I therefore hope you see my situation too and this is totally out of my hands and if things had gone to plan the pushchair should have arrived with you on Saturday...
You have told me you are going away on Tuesday then Wednesday so hopefully, whenever you go, the pushchair should be with you for then, as for you buying another one instead, i can't comment and can only apologise again...
Regards Jill x

IF ONLY SHE HAD TOLD ME ALL THIS ON FRIDAY WOULD HAVE SAVED ALOT OF STRESS (AND WASTED MONEY, TRIPS TO ARGOS THEN RETURN PUSHCHAIR THEN BUYING ANOTHER)

nicolamumof3 · 09/02/2009 10:42

how old is your ds diva? could well be teething, my middle one is a nightmare picky eater he's 3yr?

DivamakesKimchi · 09/02/2009 10:50

ds is 17m. just over 1m younger than your ds3. he is refused to eat for 2 days. this morning he had 5oz milk, one pot of yogurt so far.
hope you buggy arrives tomorrow. i think people do not communicate enough on ebay.
good luck with interview elmo
hope lillypie got parcel

FlyMeToDunoon · 09/02/2009 10:58

Sunds like it could be teething Diva.
Nicola why the hell was the pushchair not ready on the Thursday in the first place? She sounds too full of apologies and not actually willing to take responsibility for organising this chaos. Whole thing sound as if it could be lies-pushchair 'not ready' thursday, 'would have been delivered Saturday'-well they dont usually unless you have paid extra.

So I suppose now you will be left trying to sell on one pushchair which wil leave you out of pocket.

lillypie · 09/02/2009 11:07

Hi Diva nothing has turned up yet but I'm guessing there is a backlog because of the bad weather. I'm sure it will arrive soon

Your DS could be teething but I have also found with DD that although she usually eats very well she sometimes goes through funny phases with food.

nicola looks like you may get your buggy for your hols after all!!!

carrielou2007 · 09/02/2009 11:08

Morning, it has been quiet on here last few days?

Good luck Elmo for your interview today

Nicola, she sounds a bit of a numpty, why was the buggy being colleced on thursday when I thought she made a big song and dance about having to stay in all day fri? If she was not willing to wait in for a courier why offer that service on her listing? Twit!

So she knew all this friday but waited until to day to let you know. She is either ignorant, daft or couldn't be bothered once the pennies were in her account.

lillypie · 09/02/2009 11:11

Hi carrie I've fixed the Pop and now have the buggysnuggle on it. Looks great!

DivamakesKimchi · 09/02/2009 11:17

cant imagine going out without buggsnuggle in this weather.
oh, i have just cried again as baby jayden joseph news came on my yahoo mail. what terrible loss. it really puts me off dogs.little boy just looks like my ds

carrielou2007 · 09/02/2009 11:22

Hi Lillypie, fabbi, I expect the pink pupabag (whenever it gets here!!) will also look good on it if I decide I don't like/need it!!

Tried on every pair of walking boots/shoes yesterday and bought dd a pair of new pink boots insted. Then won a pair of karrimor walking shoes on ebay for 1.60!!!!! Used once indoors! Then bought a pair of pink timberland boots so I should have warm dry feet next week.

Anyone got any waterproof trousers for dd at all 2-3???

elmoandella · 09/02/2009 11:24

nicola - i'm sure i've heard you say your never buying from ebay again before

at least you may have it for hols. but trouble is you've used the obaby and get return??

dunoon. - i think 200 for what is essentially a 2nd hand slalom even though in great condition is a great rpice these days. good luck for next time.

diva - agree about teething

we had another huge snow here last night. tis lovely.

lillypie · 09/02/2009 11:34

Yes I am sure it will

I can't read anymore about that beautiful baby I sobbed mt heart out yesterday. You just can't trust dogs with baby's in almost all these incidents it's a family pet and people always say oh the dog was never like that!!!
You just never know

nicolamumof3 · 09/02/2009 11:57

yes i did says that elmo, as dp has reminded me!!!

like you say carrie i just don't think she could care a less. i've decided to take obaby on holiday anyway, does everything i need, then may get £40 or £50 for it when i get back im happy with that! i really am quite taken with it anyway.

andyrobo237 · 09/02/2009 11:58

Nicola - I was looking for one of these OBaby buggy's in black - so if you want to sell it after your holidays, then I would buy it from you! I bought a Luna off Ebay from someone off here (who isnt on now) and didnt like it when I got it, so sold it on! I am now down to one pushchair, but it is a pain when DH goes off to work wiht my pram in his boot, so I need another one - well at least that is what I told him!!!

I like the maclarens but then handles are too high, and I was looking at these OBaby ones in Mothercare last week - and was tempted.

I ordered a cosytoes off chunkle mnkle (or whatever it is) on you ladies recommendataions - so hope it arrives soon!

nicolamumof3 · 09/02/2009 12:01

chunkle munkle stuff is really nice and v.reasonable she's lovely lady too, made my comfort pack and dispatched in about 24hrs!

andy if you want obaby when i get back its all yours, thats if i decide to sell! i do love it nice black frame, nice handles but you've seen it in mothercare anyway so you know.

i've just got a lime retro spot buggysnuggle to go on it.

im not holding my breath for xlr to come tomorrow anyway.

andyrobo237 · 09/02/2009 12:06

Yes it all sounds a bit strange - I wouldnt order a courier to come if the parcel was not ready, especially if it was not even in my house! I hope it does come as it is a lot of money to have to claim pack - I assume you paid by Paypal??

The lime and black sounds a lovely colour combo - I love bright colours, but the plain black buggy can be dressed up anyway! It is a shame DS is 2 next week, as my pram days are numbered??!!

nicolamumof3 · 09/02/2009 12:08

thats what i like about it being all black too, esp the chassis looks so nice, i think it was really good value. i got it from mothercare so will come with their receipt and 6m warranty that they give on buggies

andyrobo237 · 09/02/2009 12:12

Ok, we will see what happens after your hols! Better go and feed this boy!!

nicolamumof3 · 09/02/2009 12:17

if you think you will be interested then email me whilst im away and i will send you some pics on my return and let you know one way or another! im seriously thinking will i prefer obaby to maclaren!! im maclaren girl through and through but am now starting to think are they worth that much extra???

DivamakesKimchi · 09/02/2009 12:46

wow, nicola, i always thought maclaren is overpriced what they are. i only had quest, used couple of times. i had jane energy which is size of xt (i think) it was cheaper and nicer imo.
ds past asleep i think little man having big back teeth pushing thru

sal1309 · 09/02/2009 12:57

nicola fingers crossed for you. seems a bit strange that she arranged a courier for a day she didnt have it though.

well i made a fool out of my self today alesha ran off ichased her and went flat on my face and there was loads of people about lol
