oooh that will be hard to find, personally i hate parasols!! they never provide any protection i think the m&p hoods come down so nice and low you don't really need one?

nicolamumof3 · 08/02/2009 14:59

we've had no snow since tuesday, don't know what all the fuss is about

im in summer mode already lol!

elmo how was your night out?

elmoandella · 08/02/2009 15:03

great. but i'm shattered. 2am i came home. got up at 6am!

Disenchanted3 · 08/02/2009 15:05

But Nicola it will LOOK nice!

I have the coral pramette and its just for decoration really,

Disenchanted3 · 08/02/2009 15:06

they have the changing bags on the site so am peeved they dont have parasol!

jenwa · 08/02/2009 15:52

Seen this and not sure about it as dont know make, or the other one is this
Still on lookout and still cant decide what I want most!
Still like the look of britax beep and the quest!

claret1980 · 08/02/2009 17:17

We finally got a bit of snow but didn't stick for long

FlyMeToDunoon · 08/02/2009 18:29

jenwa I don't know what three wheeler that is either. A lot of people find the Loola heavy and difficult to get up kerbs. I haven't had one myself though.

No snow here ..... yet.

Have had offer of £200 on slalom and countered 245.

elmoandella · 08/02/2009 18:34

fingers crossed dunoon

nicolamumof3 · 08/02/2009 18:38

your counter may be a bit too close to your bin dunnoon but good luck! it is a lovely pushchair.

anyone want any buggy buddy books??

just taken the obaby out and i really like it, its smooth to push, no rattling whatsover luka is comfortable in it. its so similar to a maclaren but no foam handles to rip/tear. really, really nice. v.happy.

still no word from the xlr seller...thats 3 days now??

dollydimple9 · 08/02/2009 18:48

Hi

Well ive been to Mothercare world this afternoon for a raincover for p&t ,biggest store they have and they have to order them? how stupid is that. So i went next door and bought it from Toys r us .

Nicola i looked at the pink flower obaby and had a push seems nice, i guess there just not as well known as maclaren and we pay for the name .Cant beleive xlr has gone upto £245 in shops whats all that about? and that ebay seller is really taking the beep with yours.

Dis will have a think about the kaiser as not really sure she d use it,see how she manages in cold this week. I have so wanted the ultima Afternoon tea for so long , i had the polka pramette and found it abit heavy but i suppose i could settle for the afternoon tea pramette if oh was to treat me lol . Have you not tried the M&P factory shop in Huddesfield (if you drive) last time i went they still had afternoon tea accesories but it was a while ago and its cheap.

FlyMeToDunoon · 08/02/2009 18:50

I figured they may counter back lower. Hope so.
So Nicola would you recomend obaby pushchair then?

nicolamumof3 · 08/02/2009 19:04

i would for the money, i can't see it lasting that long or being as sturdy as the maclaren. its stiffer to put up and down iykwim maclarens are just easy. but i love the design on the fabric its a bit unusual the handles are nice, little pocket on back. yes for the money it is spot on. oh and adjustable leg rest and head support to little babies too and chest pads!

lillypie · 08/02/2009 19:08

jenwa what about this XTS are a good make.

Disenchanted3 · 08/02/2009 19:09

no, i don't drive.

its the coral buggy, ive bought the coral changing bag but the afternoontea footmuff so wanted the parasol to match, dont think ill find it though.

maybe ill get this instead, do you think it will look ok with that colour pramette?

Anyone know what age the ''prammette'' goes up to in that mode?

FlyMeToDunoon · 08/02/2009 19:51

Slalom didn't sell. I have relisted. It will cost me in fees.

dollydimple9 · 08/02/2009 19:53

Yeah i would get that, they brought that out at the same time as the coral and afternoon tea ,i think it would look lovely with coral.
Pramette supposed to be upto 6 months but suppose it depends if you ve got a nosey baby lol

dollydimple9 · 08/02/2009 19:55

My dd was 16 months when i bought my polka pramette so never got to use it in pramette mode . Now im thinking i need to try one before younger dd is too old lol

jenwa · 08/02/2009 20:41

lilliepie that is nice pink too just no basket also the others are local to me so no postage. Nice buggy though
flymetodunoon yeh did hear that about loola so def not wanting to pay full price for one!

Will keep my eye on them on ebay.
Still ike tte new Britax beep but seems no one has written review on it yet so have no idea if any good. Just looks good. It says it is light weight and it has a big basket!

nicolamumof3 · 09/02/2009 08:11

Morning all! its v.quiet on here these days?

jenwa im not sure i like the look of the britax, everyone i know who's had loolas have got shot quickly they are very heavy up kerbs no good for toddlers at all.

right best go get ready and take obaby out for another spin to school!

lillypie · 09/02/2009 08:15

Morning nicola I was thinking yesterday how quiet it has been.

I'm glad you like the obaby, I always liked thew look of the vintage rose one but was worried about the quality.

elmoandella · 09/02/2009 08:18

i'm not an obaby fan. right must get ready to take kids to nusery. go gym. get ready for interview. take passprt photo's for interview and then go to interview and retreive kids.

phew busy day.

sal1309 · 09/02/2009 08:23

morning all hope your all well

nicola have you bought another pram? well i still havent sold any of my buggies

not had chance to read back has anyone else bought anything?

nicolamumof3 · 09/02/2009 08:39

sal i had to get a lie back buggy for my hols as sold up other macs to get xt which i thought was a lot of money for what it was, so sold that to get xlr and heard nothing from the seller cannot open dispute til half way through my hols so needed something cheap. never would have bought an obaby but it was the only lie back i could afford im so impressed with it. yes it is not the quality of a maclaren but then its half the price. so you get what you pay for! it will certainly do for my hols im a happy bunny!!!

FlyMeToDunoon · 09/02/2009 08:52

elmoandella good luck with interview!

Just having a quick bite for breakfast and off to nursery in a mo. Thaink I pushed my luck with the slalom just a bit too far so hopefully it will go this time. I would be glad to take 200 and get shot of it, Funny how you just get to that stage.
Right better get DD2 dressed
