It might have been amoxycillin that Toms had to take the past week. He's gotten better having it, but it finished yesterday. He had a bit of a nose bleed yesterday, just a dab of blood, rather than it gushing. If it had been gushing we would have gone straight to A&E. Will have to keep an eye on his nose though. He may have just picked it as he likes sticking his fingers up his nostrils (and mine and DPs).

nicolamumof3 · 05/02/2009 13:25

yes its bright yellow and supposed to be banana flavour but its awful and as they spit it back out it stains everything!

Maclaren · 05/02/2009 13:45

Poor Luka My Max likes that medicine lol! I would ask for the tracking number in any case Nicola I know that DHL are having problems delivering I booked a collection yesterday that wasnt collected and reasigned to today and its not been collected yet! If the weather is like this tomorrow I think I am going to keep Max at home someone fell over just outside earlier its really not very nice and they have said it should snow again tonight! think I am going to have to tell my Mum and Dad to stay at home also - They were coming down on Saturday for my Birthday but if the weather is like this I would prefer them not

Hello

just wondered if any of you know anything about the P&T vibe? I will be having a 17 month age gap (dc4) - i already own a bug cameleon - will i need a vibe or will the buggy board be enough? Town is 15min walk, we have a car.

Thnkyou!

lillypie · 05/02/2009 13:58

I thick 17 months is too little for a buggy board so you will definitely need a double of some sort.
Don't have any experience of the vibe but a lot of people on this thread love their p@t's

apushchairq · 05/02/2009 14:00

hi, i thought 17 months (nearly 18 mnths) was a bit little too - thats alot of time to expect her to stand isnt it - say 15 mins in town, an hour in there and 15 mins back...

I want to keep my Bugaboo, just looking for the easiest way to do this.

lillypie · 05/02/2009 14:12

She will probably be ok from about 2 onwards so get a cheep double and put the bug away for 6 months or possibly use a sling for new baby?

apushchairq · 05/02/2009 14:14

I did think that i could babywear for a few months, until dd was that little bit older, therefore avoiding that huge spendout. Have had a cheap double before and it broke on me so will not be buying a cheap one lol

dd also goes to nursery a bit so on that day dc4 can have the bugaboo. Its just so hard to know what to do - i do have a few months grace to think about it, but its still a hard one to guess isn't it!

nicolamumof3 · 05/02/2009 14:23

get a p&t no question about it! but only if you walk mostly? i walk EVERYWHERE i don't drive i also have an 18m gap and my two youngest are now 18m and 3yr and i still use it in doubles mode at least once or twice a week. if you drive they are v.heavy lifting in/out boot tho. i had same dilema so didn't want a double but my ds2 was far too young at 18m to use board he'd only been walking two months bless him!

nicolamumof3 · 05/02/2009 14:24

thanks for that maclaren, i can see me just having the zapp on hols at this rate and theres going to be nobody here to accept it after tuesday as we are away. god knows what will happen then??

apushchairq · 05/02/2009 14:25

thankyou i walk everywhere and i mean everywhere, i cannot drive either. dh will be with us when it goes in boot anyway and he is strong just so dont want to give up on my bugaboo....is babywearing for a bit then getting board at say 20 months for dd a rubbish plan then? lol

DivamakesKimchi · 05/02/2009 14:30

sal1309 · 05/02/2009 14:32

nicolamumof3 · 05/02/2009 14:33

i really would struggle even now without a double when ds2 is tired for example or not well or the weather is awful when are you due?

its not fine carrying a tired toddler and pushing a buggy. why do you like the vibe over the sport? i love my sport and its sooo much cheaper offers everywhere!

nicolamumof3 · 05/02/2009 14:34

its not fun i meant!!

apushchairq · 05/02/2009 14:35

pushchair · 05/02/2009 15:03

Hi.
Still waiting for a courier here too.
Teeny bit worried he won't come.
Like the sounds of your BM elmoandella
Hang on is that a ray of sunlight? Otherwise the weather is yuck-rain on slush. Just made an online order with asda for the first time and it took ages. Not that much cheaper either.

pushchair · 05/02/2009 15:04

Hope Luca's ear infection clears or could be painful on the plane

SparklyGothKat · 05/02/2009 15:13

DivamakesKimchi · 05/02/2009 15:23

pushchair · 05/02/2009 15:23

yay!

pushchair · 05/02/2009 15:33

Courier just been! thank goodness.

elmoandella · 05/02/2009 15:48

apushchairq - i dont like p&t's. i however am in love with my powertwin and will never part with that one till i no longer need prams. the main toss up for which one of the 2 you go for is if you need to put it in car then it's powertwin. if you will rarely put it in car then p&t. and with powertwin you use a car seat that reclines to carrycot. and p&t it's a soft carrycot.

i've managed to get another interview for HMRC for next week. gotta wait on my sister saying when she's free and then i book the time slot online.

and i got some fabulour cobalt blue shoes with a killer heel that were suprisingly comfy to go to party on sat.

also just back from the gym which i will regret tomorrow as first time i've been in ages and i'll be walking like a cowboy for my lunch with mrBM(if he shows)

elmoandella · 05/02/2009 15:48

whats everyone been up to today?

pushchair · 05/02/2009 15:54

lol elmoandella
Think everyone must be out.
i have done very little apart from my asda order and wait for a courier.
