it is! just unwrapped my white co. sale order tho, thats cheered me up a bit!

nappyaddict · 29/01/2009 21:11

It was the lady in JL who said they sell it from 6 months.

nappyaddict · 29/01/2009 21:12

Oh they must go by the EU rules which are stricter than ours.

BexieID · 29/01/2009 21:12

Evening all.

Toms op went well. We were in overnight and got back home around midday today. He's not liking having to take medicine though, poor man. Just need to get him eating now as he needs to chew to get rid of the stuff in the back of his throat.

It's a shame he doesn't eat sweets as they said ones like fruit pastiles and starburst are ideal.

nappyaddict · 29/01/2009 21:13

Would he eat softer sweets like haribo or the little gummy bears?

MrsMagooo · 29/01/2009 21:15

Glad the op went well Bexie Hope Tom starts eating soon

nicolamumof3 · 29/01/2009 21:15

oh well done tom! what a brave little man. bexie did you get the slippers ok for him? hope they were ok xx

pushchair · 29/01/2009 21:16

Glad it went well bexieID

BexieID · 29/01/2009 21:19

No, he won't eat sweets at all. If I give him them, he always ends up feeding me them! Hes had half a pack of Pom Bears last night and 3 choc yoghurts and today hes had a dozen mouthfulls of breakfast, half a pack of snack a jacks, 3 choc yoghurts and a pack of pringles select. This is the difficult part getting him to eat as hes a fussy eater anyway.

BexieID · 29/01/2009 21:21

I did thanks Nicola, although he wouldn't wear them, lol. Fussy with footwear too, lol.

It also doesn't help that he has a cold sore in the corner of his mouth. We know it's hurting him.

nappyaddict · 29/01/2009 21:24

Bexie that sounds like a good amount so far.

MrsMagooo · 29/01/2009 21:28

Awww sounds he's doing well though love him

OP posts:
BexieID · 29/01/2009 21:53

Thanks, just don't want him ending up having to go back in again.

I've just been fed some sweets, lol. Those natural confectionary ones that are half their extortoinate price in Morrisons atm.

DP went in with Tom when he had his anaesthetic and came out crying, bless him! It's only the 2nd or 3rd time i've seen him cry. Tom was not a happy camper when he woke up. I wasn't either last night due to hardly any sleep. They forced him to have his meds whilst he was sleeping, which woke him up and he wouldn't let me put him down (just like when i'd had him).

nicolamumof3 · 29/01/2009 22:09

o bexie i do feel for you my tom had an accident at nursery and cut his eye open and was rushed to hospital when he was about 3 or 4yr had to then have plastic surgery and a few ops was v.traumatic is horrible when they have the anaesthetic scary. at least he's eating something which is good.

onelittlelion · 29/01/2009 22:17

Glad to hear Tom's doing well Bexie - Hope he feels all better soon

Maclaren · 29/01/2009 22:39
