MrsS I have a Phil & Teds & I wouldn't be without it, it's an absolute dream to push, both my DC are very happy & comfy in it & easy to fit through doors etc etc

Oh the skate looks lovely!

pushchair · 29/01/2009 13:09

Looks so nice MrsM
Really lovely cosy pram. I love the liner.

MrsMagooo · 29/01/2009 13:16

It's so lovely to push

OP posts:
nappyaddict · 29/01/2009 14:47

Has DD been in it?

MrsMagooo · 29/01/2009 14:49

DS has

nappyaddict · 29/01/2009 14:52

oh wondered if it would still be lovely to push with a heavier child in.

claret1980 · 29/01/2009 14:55

MrsS I have a P&T, it is a godsend, had a double side by side before and it was awful. This is by far the best double.

MrsMagooo · 29/01/2009 14:56

Can't see why not - I found the Buzz just as lovely to push with DD in.

OP posts:
nappyaddict · 29/01/2009 15:09

Did you have it rear facing though? I know quite a few people who said it got quite heavy to push in rear facing once their child reached about 2. (the buzz that is not the skate don't know anyone who's had one of those)

MrsMagooo · 29/01/2009 15:11

Yes, DD was both rear & forward facing in the Buzz depending on whether & what we were doing etc & seemed no heavier to me.

bexie - harness pads posted.

4andnotout · 29/01/2009 16:05

The p&t arrived and has already been on the school run! I love it!
Going to order footmuffs either tommorow or monday, then will be sorted

questions2008 · 29/01/2009 16:09

Hi pushchair experts, does anyone have any experience with the M&P Ziko Herbie, it's 50% off right now so sounding like good value? But am worried it will be a pain to move about with.

I have absolutely no experience with prams and pushchairs, first baby and didn't like much at first look in Babies R Us but liked the look of the herbie, joolz and skate at M&P. Obviously, I'd prefer to buy the cheapest!
Any opinions welcome

dollydimple9 · 29/01/2009 17:05

Mrs M love the skate, would you say its easier to push then the buzz? i find the buzz hard work in shops etc with the wheels being wider at the back im always running over peoples feet .

Well before i got chance to phone kiddicare about them sending the wrong colour P&T double seat they phoned me and said they would get me one out straight away on 24 hour delivery but im out tomorrow so its coming monday, its killing me just looking at it and not using it, suppose i could just try it out with baby in it .

pushchair · 29/01/2009 17:23

question2008 techno on this thread had a herbie and liked it I think I am right in saying. There was something about the handle though I think. She will be on later and may be able to give you some advice.

MrsMagooo · 29/01/2009 17:31

Dolly it's much a smoother push then the Buzz & is much easier to push one handed too

Q2008 I have just got a Skate & it's lovely (there are some photos on a link a little further up) & I love it! I got mine for £425 from Begees on eBay who are a M&P stockist so came with full M&P guarantee

Q2008, Not sure where you live but the Mamas & Papas factory shop in huddersfield has some excellent bargins, much cheaper then the m&p shops.

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 29/01/2009 18:10

pushchair · 29/01/2009 18:45

Aw nicola

anythingbutpink · 29/01/2009 18:47

is this really about pushchairs? [trying to skim through 26 pages in a hurry face]

Is it safe to put my 3 and half month old in a maclaren quest? I am going away with 2 dc, mum and dog tomorrow and can't fit phil and ted in car with all that lot...

nappyaddict · 29/01/2009 19:13

The quest is from 6 months really but it looks like you haven't really got much choice (unless you've got a sling or you could borrow a different pushchair or sling by tomorrow) Have you got a nice padded liner or sheepskin you can use to flatten it out a bit? If not just use a folded up blanket.
