nicolamumof3 · 27/01/2009 14:17

carrie have you taken xt out? if not take it back for refund?

pushchair · 27/01/2009 14:17

Tom looks very comfy and very cute in his stripes.
Breeze does look nice and compact. What is happening with shopping basket? Is it strung on?

Maclaren · 27/01/2009 14:17

Think it will look really nice with the cowprint and red footmuff DH thought I was completely mad on Saturday buying a double seat foe a pushchair I dont have lol! but Tom loves it, its really bouncy would def recommend it and it comes in a little bag with a head support!

Right I need to get some house work done before picking up Max

Maclaren · 27/01/2009 14:19

Maclaren · 27/01/2009 14:23

lol your lucky Tom doesnt sleep at all in the day! right half an hour to do ALL the housework oops!

carrielou2007 · 27/01/2009 14:23

No will keep the bloomin thing, I'm just remembering why I don't like Maclarens (I borrowed a grey xt with the single spoke wheel when dd was 10 weeks old from a very kind friend for a week's hols and I hated it!!)

nicolamumof3 · 27/01/2009 14:27

oh carrie you must have got carried away then with us keep going on about them. its expensive to keep if you don't like tho? you have so many maclarens i thought you would love it i will get mine unpacked and may use on school run later. got dazzle back in box hasn't even had a test run lol!

pushchair · 27/01/2009 14:27

I'm away to get more housework done too.

nicolamumof3 · 27/01/2009 14:29

typically i like the look of the elite

dp's home best shift my ass!

lillypie · 27/01/2009 14:50

carrie return it and buy a breeze!

nicolamumof3 · 27/01/2009 15:01

its official back in love with my xt! its just so simple sturdy and nice a classic!!! you know i thought from the pics it was black and champagne like the new quest and xlr and like my lulu guinness so maybe thats why i was disaapointed? not so keen on the black and silver but i've got it now. packed dazzle and resealed it so thats waiting to go back unless anyone wants it??

TheOtherMaryPoppinsDiets · 27/01/2009 15:02

lol Nicola you're so fickle

carrielou2007 · 27/01/2009 15:04

Well, will take it out for a spin later and take it on holiday and if I hate it will sell it. I do need a new 'walking' buggy and being umbrella fold it fits easily at the end of my kitchen and in the hall cuboard (with the quest and the triumph but will sell the quest now).

I suppose it's just that it's replacing my beloved bugaboo and so any buggy doesn't really stand a chance. I just don't want to pay 300 quid plus anymore for a buggy that won't get huge amount of use. Maybe with some nice silver acces to sleek it up a bit more.

carrielou2007 · 27/01/2009 15:34

Right, have found a couple of buggysnuggles, one is black suede and silver fur lining (but have one in all black and not really long enough) and a pupabag one which looks sort of silvery tipped. Anyone want a used twice wolf buggysnuggle then I will order one of these??

nappyaddict · 27/01/2009 15:34

carrie how come you don't like your new xt?

carrielou2007 · 27/01/2009 15:37

Rattley. Not a bugaboo. I like the raincover though

321maisie · 27/01/2009 15:43

Pushchair....Hope you dont mind me asking but just after a bit of info re.breeze....I am in need of something that is easy to fold and light/small enough to be taken on the bus...Sounds easy enough, except I have had every type of umbrella fold possible and hated them all!!! My current 'bus buggy is the bee but not a huge fan of that either!!I have 2 MB Urbans and an elite which I love and have often wondered about the breeze!!! Have never seen one in the flesh though so just wondered if in your opinion it would be any use for bus travel (the ones round here are rubbish and you have to fold the buggies!!!)... Was going to hold out for the mountain buggy swift which seems to be a smaller/lighter urban but now the company is receivership so unsure about the future release (was due out around now!!)...Would be grateful for any feedback and sorry its so long-winded!!!
