OK have to drag myself away now. have increased bid to 105. DP is nagging me to get off computer and go out and of course he has no idea what I am up to.
Fingers crossed.

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2009 12:26

fingers crossed too pushchair! i haven't made it out this morning, but got the house nice and tidy made lunch, luka in bed and now the ironing to do then im all up to date. will go for walk when luka up later!

will you be selling slalom now then?

4andnotout · 18/01/2009 13:14

Hi everyone
Can anyone advise on any of these
Mothercare Hoxton Tandem
Jusonne Othello Tandem
Marco Sky tandem
DD3 is 15 months and DD4 is 12 weeks, we have a mb double terrain, and a mamas papas duette but need something small & cheap for me to take on buses. There is a hoxton bin for £20 on ebay but it is in rugby

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2009 13:55

how often do you travel on buses? personally i wouldn't get a hoxton i had a cosatto duet lite and find it impossible to steer and get up kerbs with my ds' who were then 2yr and 4m.

could you use a single and sling?

4andnotout · 18/01/2009 14:10

I would use the buses more if i had a lightweight pram, it is difficult at the moment with the 4 dd's and the mb.Have tried the sling but dd4 prefers to sleep on her own rather than on me.

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2009 14:15

i know exactly what its like, can you keep the pushchairs up on a bus then? if so my recommendation is a p&t i know they are expensive even secondhand but i had five doubles and this really is the best.

pushchair · 18/01/2009 14:28

Made it back but MB up to 120. I have put on 135 max but don't have much hope. Don't want to go any higher is that mad?

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2009 14:32

no you are right to decide what you want to pay and stick to that pushchair. nearly finished my ironing so off for walk and to coffee shop with boys!

pushchair · 18/01/2009 14:33

Ok i have given up at 135 its up to 142 now.

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2009 14:33

oh well, when does it finish?

pushchair · 18/01/2009 14:36

Finished! Just hope I wasn't bidding against SparklyGothKat Theres another finishing in a day.

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2009 14:38

£155 oh well

pushchair · 18/01/2009 14:38

Off for a late lunch sigh.

SparklyGothKat · 18/01/2009 14:39

no i wasn't bidding lol.. I was on my way to collect a blue retro spot buggysnuggle...

claret1980 · 18/01/2009 14:54

I saw the MB Pushchair, that is quite a hight price, even with the buggysnuggle.

I'm just listing a few pairs of dd & ds1 trainers, have been through them and binned loads.

DDofaToxicMother · 18/01/2009 15:55

Hi there everyone I've had to name change. Hmmmm now to think of a clue to give you so you all know who I am.

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2009 16:21

hiya diva!!! it is you isn't it??

i didn't think that was high for the MB is it??

ooh blue retro spot SGK, i love mine, i've got one on my camo p&t lovely.

DDofaToxicMother · 18/01/2009 16:26

No it's not diva. If you do work out who I am please don't post my old name on here.

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2009 16:27

oh ok need more clues then please

elmoandella · 18/01/2009 16:48

hi all. i'd love to swap for a maclaren. but gotta be one of bigger versions.

elmoandella · 18/01/2009 16:51

oh and prammy mmmy did you go gla pram centre?? were they having closing sale?

MrsMagooo · 18/01/2009 16:56

Afternoon all!!

Back from Freeport, had a lovely time, got some real bargains in Next & M&S!! Poor DD though, she tripped & had her hands in her pockets so fell flat on her face She is now sporting a grazed forehead, grazed cheek, grazed nose & a split fat lip orr baby She soon perked up after we treated her to a chocolate mouse from Thorntons

Ooooo so more clues to your ID Dofa Nicola did you have any luck with Babyvalue?

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2009 17:00

oh bless her mrs.m, hope she's ok poor love. haven't heard from babyvalue, but i don't mind either way, tbh if they refund me then good, but if they won't then i don't mind having it after all. if they refund me maybe a black one will be easier to sell??

MrsMagooo · 18/01/2009 17:06

She's ok love her, keeps licking her lip - think it feels wierd where it's swollen

I think black is popular but tbh I think you could easily sell either anyway

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2009 17:26

yep me too, just wondering whether to get a footmuff now! checking completed listings if its in good luck i will make my money back. i think already people are looking at lightweight buggies thinking of the spring or maybe its just me lol!
