i love the colours on this

nicolamumof3 · 17/01/2009 20:19

i like that too pushchair! im already wondering about zapp! oh well just have to wait and see what its like i spose.

MrsMagooo · 17/01/2009 20:19

Sounds lovely Prammy!!

Everything I've ever bought from B.Value has been new & I've bought a lot so should be!!

MrsMagooo · 17/01/2009 20:20

Nicola the Strawberry is quite pinky on the Zapp

nicolamumof3 · 17/01/2009 20:22

all the ones i've seen look quite red to me?? oh well, i really wanted the breen but think its too expensive if i end up not liking the zapp, thought it best to try out a cheaper model first. anyway no point worrying about it til it comes!

MrsMagooo · 17/01/2009 20:24

This one shows the colour quite well. I had the Strawberry footmuff for my pink Zapp

SparklyGothKat · 17/01/2009 20:28

ah thanks Nicola, I emailed the seller of the reconditioned ones on ebay and he is putting one aside for me until the end of the week

nicolamumof3 · 17/01/2009 20:29

im not worried about the colour just the condition. im sure it will be fine. right feeling yuck again so off for lie down.

thats good sgk

MrsMagooo · 17/01/2009 20:30

Wise buying cheaper til you know if you like it or not - that way if you do you can sell the Strawberry one on & buy the colour you really want.

pushchair · 17/01/2009 20:33

Anyone here tell me if the mountain buggy seat is upright when up and what the fabrics are like on the older urban models. Also pro's and cons of older and new models. Think theirmum said she found her older one lighter.

SparklyGothKat · 17/01/2009 20:38

I have added a pic to my profile of the seat upright on the MB.(I replaced my covers after this holiday as they faded when I washed them lol)

JackJacksmummy · 17/01/2009 20:40

MrsM - sorry been at work all day - your P&T is lush!!! I am so going to pimp my p&t when it comes!!

Just one thing, does the hood replace the one you have or is it a cover that goes over the existing hood?

elmoandella · 17/01/2009 20:40

ah kids in bed.

trying to get a swap for that jane for something smaller folding to no avail.

dont know if i can be arsed ebaying again.

or perhaps just live without a ingle till ds starts nursery in april. then i can hopefully sell powertwin and i'll have space for the jane single

SparklyGothKat · 17/01/2009 20:40

I had the older fixed handle first and then got the elite, the fixed handle was defo. lighter.

sal1309 · 17/01/2009 20:44

hi all hope you are all well.

just thought id pop on and say hi

MrsMagooo · 17/01/2009 20:48

JJMummy it replaces current hood, you just slide the P&T one off the rods then slide the Snunkie one on

Evening Elmo - how you doing lovely? Is it worth trying Ebay again now you're not in so much of a rush to sell?? Myabe try a 10 day listing on a BIN? No-one on here got anything to swap??

Evening Sal

pushchair · 17/01/2009 20:50

SparklyGothKat your DS is so sweet. He has changed so much. Seat looks ok I think. Would you recommend fixed handle? Is it a complete pita?

SparklyGothKat · 17/01/2009 20:52

i am only 5ft tall so found the fixed handle fine, but if you are tall then i imagine it would be a PITA.

pushchair · 17/01/2009 21:01

Hmm I am 5.8 Thanks for your advice. Sorry it must be a pain for you seeing as you are trying to sell one.

elmoandella · 17/01/2009 21:01

i've relisted as original listing. 10 day bin at £249. see what happens.

i cant believe no one has anything to swap at all. but i'm tempted to hold out and get a black xt when they come out.

SparklyGothKat · 17/01/2009 21:06

Nah, not a problem, secretly I keep hoping that I can't sell it. I did have it on ebay but got offers of £80,£90 and £100 so just removed it.. the extras and the new covers cost more than that anyways.. Dh told me to remove it and just keep it, as he said that I might as well use it than sell it for that!

Dh is about 5ft 6 and he had no problems with the fixed handle, I only got the elite because my sister (misdee) was selling it..

MrsMagooo · 17/01/2009 21:12

Worth a shot Elmo lovely!

Right I'm off to bed - Nighty night all

Xx

nappyaddict · 17/01/2009 21:13

claret - why didn't you like the zia?

JackJacksmummy · 17/01/2009 21:16

has anyone got any spare buzz adaptors? my friend has got her hand on a buzz with carrycot but her delightful son chucked the adaptors away in a fit of rage (he's a little $hit!) and she didn't know til a few weeks later.

Also she wants a raincover for the carrycot.

Or any ideas where she can get them from?

elmoandella · 17/01/2009 21:25

stirling pram centre has a giant box of maxi cosi adaptors which often has other adapters in there.

worth a call. they might have carrycot raincover too. and they will post.
