pushchair · 18/01/2009 09:15

Morning. Anyone find me a fabulous Mountain Buggy bargain. Am watching a few on ebay- and there aren't many around at the moment. Still undecided between urban-lighter but manmade fabric?, fixed handle OR elite-much more expensive, cotton canvas fabric? which most peolple sem to prefer and adjustable handle. Now don't all rush at once!

MrsMagooo · 18/01/2009 09:16

LOL! I'm waiting to see if they start flogging them off!

I reckon someone might buy them out though!

Any particular colour lovely?

MrsMagooo · 18/01/2009 09:19

Could be a bargain but pick up only

MrsMagooo · 18/01/2009 09:21

like this but bet it will go for a hefty price!

MrsMagooo · 18/01/2009 09:28

PMSL - do you reckon the hubby listed this look at title

pushchair · 18/01/2009 09:32

Heehee yeah.
I am watching those MB on ebay. The first one is London which is doable. I would really love a Plum or Chocolate. Any on other forums?

morning all how is everyone today? keep getting offers via message instead of proper best offers on ebay iyswim on lulu guinness it has 9 watchers, hope it goes, said i will take £85 to one lady who offered £75.

had horrible migraine last night so went to bed but still not right today, think i may take boys out for walk, dp working, but they were stuck indoors yesterday so be good for them to get some fresh air and may poor down later.

i emailed babyvalue to see if i could cxl zapp im just not sure about it. it says wheel wear and scratches i wonder how easy would be to sell on if more worn than i thought if i sell maclaren will have enough to get new zapp which i've seen for £121 so should hopefully get money back??? oh who knows im confused can you tell lol!!

i would like to try mountain buggy too pushchair, but would have to get rid of p&t as no room for two 3 wheelers.

arrrghh I wanted to go to the farm today, taking MB out for a spin again, but MIL phoned and is coming round... I really wanted to go out today

PrammyMammy · 18/01/2009 10:35

Morning :D
Just managed to drag myself out of bed. I am so glad that ds is just as lazy as me.
I am going through to glasgow pram center today, someone said it was closing down, but the website says that a new one is going up tomorrow, so who knows!

lillypie · 18/01/2009 10:35

pushchair I absolutely LOVE my MB. It's an older style terrain (reclines with zips) but it is in really good condition and I got it for the bargain price of 60 pounds (including MB cosytoes and raincover) from lovely Mumo75

It is absolutely the BEST thing I have bought since DD was born and is absolutely like pushing air even with my great lump in it.

It's been everywhere beach, woods, up mountains
and it copes fantastically with everything!

There are some lovely fancy MB models on the market but I like to think that I can take mine anywhere without worrying about it getting dirty

I have a pic of DD in it on my profile.

npg1 · 18/01/2009 10:42

morning all, sorry didnt reply anymore last night, sat down to watch a film and then forgot.

Cant remember who asked about my Triumph but can you email me at [email protected] please.

Oh yeah, the mothercare cat says that the maclaren XLR can now take this soft carrycot they are doing, how does that work? Still forward facing but with a carrycot?

pushchair · 18/01/2009 11:05

lillypie I can't believe you are a grandma. You don't look it! In a way I am quite jealous. Oh I am same age as you and my DD3 is 2.3-similar!

Am bidding on this May up maximum though as I am away out soon. How much do you reckon? Some are selling at £100 odd and some for lots more. Don't know if the buggy snugge will make a lot of difference. Guess I shold go with the max I would be willing to pay.

lillypie · 18/01/2009 11:18

LOL I can't bloody believe it either!!!

Good luck with your bidding that's a really nice buggy, hope you get a bargain

mamadiva · 18/01/2009 11:21

Hi everyone

Just a quick hello before I go to hospital, think I have tonsilittus my throat is very very sore, my ears are killing me and I have totally lost my voice which DS and DP find hysterical

nicola I got your seat pads yesterday thanks alot they are lovely

Anyway wil update you later on if I can be bothered coming on hopefully will get some decent Antibiotics.

SparklyGothKat · 18/01/2009 11:39

pushchair do you want me to bid on it for you, will enter your max bid at the last minute..

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2009 11:40

oh mama sorry you are so poorly, hope you manage to get something tonsillitus is nasty, dp used to suffer badly with it about 4-6 times a year! so he had them out a year ago now, what a relief. take care...

lillypie i agree with pushchair! can't believe it!

lovely mb pushchair fingers crossed for you!!

pushchair · 18/01/2009 12:00

Hi stil here. had shower and prised DP off the computer. Um what do you reckon I should bid up to. I thought I might risk £100 or £110. If I put in that as max bid I should be able to leave it and I will only have to pay someone elses max bid iyswim.

nicolamumof3 · 18/01/2009 12:07

yep i'd say £100 might go for more? but fingers crossed, if its black i'd have a nice red snuggle on it, or you could use your pink nest and sell the sheep snuggle that will be £20 back!

pushchair · 18/01/2009 12:12

Thats what i thought. Fuschia pink nest would look good.
