Would have been terrified, if it wasn't with incredibly well trained paramedic/driver, and eminent trauma doctor- I figured the doc was such precious cargo, the paramedic would be as careful as he could!

About 90/95mph on autobahn.

Between 120 & 140 in a very fast Volvo. Don't know the exact speed as df was driving. It was on an autobahn though.
Myself, I may have touched 100 on a clear motorway in my younger days - nowadays I feel reckless if I hit 80 without noticing (easily done in modern quiet cars)

I came on to say about 105mph in a Ford KA. Whilst dh was reading the user manual telling me the top speed was 102mph. I had to disagree.

I remember as a kid in the 80s me and my brother and two other kids in the back of my parents Datsun while mum got it over 100mph on the M6....We were all stood up to see the speedo, whooping and laughing....egging her on. No seatbelts!

My old accountant got sent to prison for six months for speeding on the local bypass. Think he was clocked at 118mph.

I have done 110mph on the M62, but would never drive like that now.

120mph when DH thought he’d race the car in the next lane. He’s got a v fast sports car which brings out the worst in other drivers, most of the time he ignores them but this time he responded. I was terrified and absolutely bloody furious at the same time. I threatened to tell his Mum if he didn’t slow down (we were on our way to see her) and he did immediately. He hasn’t been near that speed since, at least not with me in the car anyway.

I’m not into speeding as a thing but I certainly have enjoyed the big, straight, clear toll roads in Europe.

I’ve never driven on the autobahn but I understand there is not speed limit you’re just expected to make sensible choices

125 mph at night on a California freeway ! In my defense, there were drivers passing me and I slowed right down when I realised how fast I was going!
