Recently I was speaking to a work colleague who was telling me about an ex gf and said it was the best s*x he ever had. I also heard other people mention something similar.

What does this actually mean? How can one be better than another? More positions? More energy?

I don’t know if I’m DH’s best sex he ever had. And he clearly is mine. I’m not sure if I can improve my abilities and have no idea where to turn to.

We ( me and female friends) discussed this recently. The only one who could really articulate the “best sex” she’s ever had, was the one who was having an affair. I love my DH and our sex life is amazing full of love, laughter and deep union. But he was a fit 50 when we met I was 44. That's different sex to younger sex I am/was super fit and very bendy and in my thirties had sex with a huge body builder who could pick me up with one hand it was outstanding unbelievable amazing sex.

Why? If you are close to each other, then it might be something that is shared. It's not as if people are talking about their sex lives in meetings.

Well actually I can relate to this in that these days sex seems to be presented as something really competitive that you get graded on. And not as a natural human expression of love and desire.

It has become yet another way to make people feel inadequate because they don't feel " good enough " compared to other people.
