Make up getting messed up during sex!

If you have make up on during the day and end up getting all hot and sweaty under the sheets with your other half, does your make up get all messy? With me it's a case of face makeup pretty much disappearing, and my mascara flaking all over the place. Meaning if we are then going out I need to take it all off and start again. Which for me is a faff. How do others 'handle' this???

Surely you'd shower and redo it anyway if you were sweaty? Is this a real question?

Well I use a setting spray either Charlotte tilbury or urban decay. Doesn't budge!

I think this sounds like a problem that a previous me would have had but def don’t get into bed these days to then get back out of it and go out 😂 (actually maybe this is a WFH / post-school run thing!)

This is never a problem I have had, so either I don't have enough sex or don't wear enough makeup. But as pp said, would you not shower after sex and before going out? Please say you do.

If your make up is getting noticably messed up during sex it probably means you are wearing far too much make up.

To answer a couple of questions:

1. I do shower but I'd rather not wet my face if that meant I could avoid re-doing my make up. Which right now is not possible because it gets messed up. So I do take it off and start again.
2. I don't wear much make up - and that may be why there's little left afterwards. Because there isn't much to start with - which is OK if I'm not doing any form of exercise.

Don't get under the sheets, keep the room cool so you sweat less I guess. Buy better makeup and setting spray that has some staying power

I don't wear make-up.

My make up stays where it is, not really sure how it would come off.
Is he using a babywipe to erm clean something off your face and your make up is coming off?

I find that wearing an old fashioned diving helmet during sex solves this problem.

Crikey, I'm pleased I don't wear make up. I would hate to even be thinking about this whilst I would rather be otherwise engaged. So, learn to love your face without make up.

Maybe a snorkeling mask to stop the mascara from going ‘all over the place’.

If the issue is redoing it before you go out then just ding do your makeup before sex?

If you've got enough time to work up a proper makeup-melting sweat, you've got time to give your face a quick wash and put a bit more slap on afterwards.
