Hair or bare?

Something I've wondered about for years but never asked anyone - do you leave your doodah natural or do you shave / wax / Immac? And to what extent? Do you leave a bit on or go totally bare? It's never been something I've had to do much about for the past several years as nobody has been near that area, but my new partner has mentioned he would like to see me without hair. He's not complaining about how I am at the moment, he loves being down there, but I think he's turned on by the thought of it. So, do most women shave or not?!

Luckily my penis is longer than my would be pubes so it has zero effect on going for a wee.

My son sees all sorts of bodies when we go swimming, plus if you wax you have to let it regrow a bit before waxing again. But its not like hes going round inspecting or even really paying much attention to other peoples genitals.

I'm early 30s and get it all waxed off and have done since I was about 18 - it's for me as I prefer it so I go for regular waxes whether I am in a relationship or not

It really depends who I'm with and how they prefer it. I really have no preference. Currently bald around the lips with a reasonable trimmed amount up top.

I wax my bum myself so thats okay, I’ve had to keep the front very short as shaving it would be too itchy and waxing it myself would be too painful I think and too much of a faff.

Razor unfortunately...and is a pain. Itches to start with but did stop. Just have to keep up with it which I didn't to start with. Did make me realise how much I prefer being hair free though. Much nicer

Wouldn't ever try waxing myself.

As a 60s teenager I wanted to see bush, whether in porn or real life. In the late 70s into early 80s, DW1 started to trim her bikini line as knickers and bikinis got smaller. When I was single between DWs back in the 80/90s, Brazilians were catching on and I always loved the anticipation of the reveal with a new partner of what bush design she would have. But I was a bit taken aback with my first bare front end. Combined with her small boobs I found it a bit pervy. But I soon got over it!! I honestly don’t have a preference - it’s your body - DW2 has a full but bikini line trimmed bush.

Have tried both but prefer with because it is so much more sensitive during foreplay. The hairs have a nerve ending that increases sensation. DH doesn’t like it bare and has no problem with oral sex so I don’t see the point. Oh and wee is sterile when it exits the body.
I am blond though so never had thick extensive bush. Give it a regular trim and use tweezers to tidy up bikini line. It doesn’t take very long and after years of having bikini line waxed hairs aren’t very strong.
I do have a patch of alopaecia just below CSection scar so it looks odd if I don’t tidy it up, almost a natural heart shape.

@Bodgedboxdye Could you recommend which epilator you use. I recently bought a Panasonic combined eplilator/razor and although i find the epilator ok on my legs it is far too painful for me to do my private area! Which is annoying as that's really why I bought it. I much prefer the feel of being hair free but I'm getting increasingly fed up with the up keep. Creams don't seem to get me smooth enough and shaving leads to re-growth itching.
For those ladies who've had a wax - how painful is it really and how long does it last? Just the thought brings tears to my eyes TBH.

I personally would be really cautious about laser hair removal if we are talking about taking it all off. At some point your children will see you naked and if you have literally no pubic hair they may be quite confused. Also, you can't pee straight if you don't have pubic hair

What kind of bullshit is this? You can’t pee straight unless you have pubic hair? Such nonsense. Pubes don’t act as bollards for your urine stream.

And do what if your kids see you without pubic hair? Explain that as an adult you grow it, but you then choose to remove it because that’s what you prefer. Same as you choose to remove armpit, leg or facial hair, or paint your nails, wear make-up, dye your hair or any other grooming practice.

I'm bald down below, DP would be happy either way. I went to a sugaring salon before lockdown and have been doing it myself since lockdown but getting a few ingrown hairs.

I was bald (full Hollywood wax) when I met my now partner but haven’t had it redone since we became exclusive. He much prefers me furry. As this means he is happy to stroke me like a cat whenever he can, and he now spends ages with his face down there during sex, and I’m saving money, I’m not going back to waxing, even though for a while I liked the feel of it. I just shave the bikini line and my bum area.

Used to shave it all off in my 20s, now I have a little bit up top now that I'm older, but I prefer it without to be honest. Considering a Hollywood wax at some point.

This came up in a conversation the other day and we wondered if there is a correlation between how you have your hair (or not) and how your DP has theirs. If you're bare, do you prefer your DP to be bare also, or they choose to match your style / you theirs?
Personally we love the way bare on bare looks & feels.

Update! Had a Brazilian last friday, it did hurt but not unbearably, however the pain started a few hours later then I had a rash for about 5 days..... But in the end I'm pleased with it, and so was DP when I revealed it as his birthday surprise last night Wink

Congrats and glad you are pleased. I think the rash is more because it is a first time...you might get it again but less so if you repeat in say 3 weeks. Best thing to do is keep up with it as I have done for a while. Pain is fairly low now and I never get rashes either.

And if hubby really likes it then that's a big plus😉
