I use a diaphragm so period sex is not a messy problem at all.

Quick bath and pants +sanitary towel on for bed. . Towel /wipes handy for afterwards, dtd, quick clean up before post sex cuddle (optional - I turn over and asleep in seconds!)

We do, it's not that messy in fairness I usually have a bath first and then we have a shower after. I'm usually really horny during my period and I can orgasm really easily! Even been known to manager more than one!

Never feel particularly in the mood that time of month. Maybe would be different if I was all waxed down there but blood matted pubes are not exactly sexy (obv would wash first but it's not like you wash then it stops...)

No apart from anything else I feel quite raw so it's uncomfortable. While it's proper flow at least. On way in or dregs maybe. I don't mind the mess but I don't like the rawness. Dh also says it's quite acidic.

I'm not a fan. Not from an 'eww gross' perspective, but I have very sensitive muscles and nerves around my whole abdominal area during my period - it just makes everything painful and crampy.

However, mine tend to drag on a while with brown blood; we quite often have end of period sex without realising! Until I have to do a bedsheets wash the next morning...

Absolutely fine. Previous bfs / FWBs have never had an issue with it, though a couple didn't want to have oral sex at that time which I understand (most had had no issue!).

DH and I tend to just lay a towel down and crack on. It's not an issue for us and I really enjoy it - I'm not squeamish about it physically / taste-wise etc.

OP - yes, I don't "prepare" or anything before we DTD. I'm not dirty and both my DH and I know we're not carrying any transmittable diseases/STDs so it doesn't concern us.
