Gross, yay or nay?

I can't fathom the idea without feeling totally unsexy (hang on whilst I whip my tampon out and you get a bloodstained nob, boak.)

Even that brown staining at the end of a period is a no go. He gets no action from day about 7-23 (just incase it comes early).

Am I missing something?!

I'm in my early 50s & have a Mirena, so hardly ever any bleeding.

No problems in the past with period sex though, apart from on my heaviest days. I never really had cramps anyway.

I used to put a fresh tampon in & take it out afterwards - reaching the string could be awkward!

As for stains - Vanish liquid dabbed onto bloodstains gets them out perfectly

No... too uncomfortable and orgasming with a partner is too difficult. But I find that if I wank during my period it really does help the cramps (and the orgasm is volcanic).

The thought of someone going down on me when I am on my period makes me feel ill!

I wouldn't have sex on my period. The thought of laying a towel down and the whole post-sex clean up sounds very unsexy to me!

It's just all a bit grim.

I can’t be arsed now so it’s a good excuse not to lol but in my younger days we had sex during my period all the time. It was never messy/bloody strangely, maybe because it was mixed with other fluids
