Tried anal sex, underwhelmed, am I missing something here???

Ok, here goes, and sorry in advance if TMI...So, DP and I recently started experimenting with, erm, rear-entry shenanigans Blush, he'd tried it before with previous partners but TBH I'd always been put off by horror stories (pain/mess/looseness....leakage Shock)

Anyways, in short, have now tried it a few times with DP (every time in various degrees of mild tipsiness TBH) and, well, I'm just not feelin' it, so to speak.

No pain, a bit of a general weird feeling (especially when DP takes it out, really feels like I'm gonna poo Blush). But other than that, nothing. Although relieved it doesn't really hurt, I'm not getting anything out of it all, and really starting to feel like I'm missing something. Have one friend who absolutely swears by it, and I'm starting to feel like I'm doing it wrong!

DP says he's not fussed but he clearly gets off on it and I kinda like that and want to persevere, and I do like the whole naughtiness of it all.

Does anyone have any advice about how I can make this more enjoyable? Have looked at the threads already on MN but they don't really deal with this Heard that there might be certain lubricants that can increase sensitivity. Perhaps some kinds of toys?

Like I said, some people are fixated Grin

disclosure - i'm a man. been thinking about posting for a week, this is just so weird for me. was ashamed to think people might know i'm reading (and writing) this -even if you don't know me. i need some advice. i know that (apart from a troll here and there), you're all "real" (as opposed to women on websites meant for a male audience)... so i hope you can help.

btw, i don't know the jargon, those acronyms you keep using (how do you all know them? - have i been living on another planet for so long?)... so if i didn't get something from a previous post, feel free to point it out.

how the heck do i say this... my wife loves a little tickle... um.. down there. in fact she adores it, and when i get a little more adventurous with oral play it seems to drive her crazy. she makes sure she is very clean, and if she's not she always tells me, so that we don't go 'there'. she has even wanted to go down there on me (my own "nether regions" so to speak), but the thought of it freaked me out. i mean, holy crap this is my wife

Anal sex is much more rewarding for men than women. That is why so many men have turned Gay in the past 20 years. You girls have all your equipment in front, and for good reason according to nature and progenesis. If you don't like it and DH wants/demands it then he is not allowed (legally) to do it. Forcing a sex act upon somebody is illegal in every single country.

kashinoki
Presuming you are not a troll..
To answer your questions;

  1. Lots of foreplay, lots and lots of lubrication, using a small vibrator or plug first (look on love honey or similar for ones designed specifically for this). Some women (mentioned in other posts) also find it better if they use a vibrator for vaginal pen. during it.
  2. I'm no medical expert; the tissues there are more delicate, do not naturally lubricate, are more prone to tearing etc. but if you use lots of lubrication & go slowly I suppose that mitigates it to a certain extent; you might get some more definitive answers online if you search or from other posters who have done it reg. for a while.
  3. Not eating for a while b4 and using an enema seems to be the stan. approach to this.
  4. Those two holes (!) are quite close by in women, the nerve endings around there feel nice (tho I personally do not like pen.). Plus the same aspect of doing something extra/different/'dirty'/naughty that is a factor for guys.

Zombie thread

flanjabelle · 19/03/2016 11:08

Wow bighardman I wonder what you were searching to come across this thread... Hmm

Zombie thread alert.
perv alert also

Vixxfacee · 19/03/2016 11:11

Big hard man you're a perv.

DarrenHardysDrongo · 19/03/2016 11:49

ZOMBIE THREAD ALERT

which I wouldn't normally post on, but this is a perfect example of why MN should lock old threads. Happens all the time on R'ships, zombie threads get posted on, people waste their time reading because they haven't noticed the date of the OP (and with the new font it's now hardly legible anyway),...it's either the fucking spell caster who will get your lying cheating scumbag back for you, or sex discussions resurrected.
Rant over. Till next time Grin

merville · 19/03/2016 17:46

However... posters might be responding to recent posters, not the OP.

I've seen threads 4 yrs old on other forums ... with different posters carrying on the original theme (not about anal sex to be fair!) which is relevant to them, and still getting useful feedback & advice.

Fugghetaboutit · 19/03/2016 20:30

What new font

IrishDad79 · 20/03/2016 00:18

*bumped

ddeemummy · 20/03/2016 06:28

We have experimented a few times. After a couple of disastrous attempts we did it one night and was pleasantly surprised was so intense. Unfortunately that was a few years ago and have been unable to have the same enjoyment.

SarahKate1 · 07/04/2017 14:08

Yuck, not for me (but then I am a lesbian) and Sarah is not putting anything up my bum :)

gillybeanz · 07/04/2017 14:14

I love it, sometimes more than any other type of sex.
However, it's each to their own.
My dh isn't so keen these days so don't do it nearly often enough Sad

Oh, and you needn't worry about mess afterwards, there are things you can do to alleviate this.

Try one of these

Neither of us are interest in this, I just dont see any attraction at all, and it can cause damage later in life. The muscles are designed for expelling waste not sex.

fantasmasgoria1 · 05/08/2018 14:18

This is a zombie thread! But anal does nothing for me! It’s painful!

LornaMumsnet · 05/08/2018 14:36

We're just moving this over to the sex topic. Flowers
