Same here Loose. It's the nineteenth anniversary of my DM's death on Sunday. I find it hard to believe it's so long. Sympathies anyhow Eve, a lot of us share the same feelings Flowers.

I think I will have a very very happy DD when I pick the girls up ...email just received to say she has a place on the Japan trip for 2019...she wasn't guaranteed a place because she is not doing Art or Business which the trip is facilitated for.

alwayshiding words would not be sufficient to say how much I admire you and your dd fighting illness the way you have. I wish you both happiness, good health and hope that it will all be alright with both of you as soon as possible. Always - hope you can take time to de-stress over the next few weeks. Even taking the stress down a few levels can help.

Ds has not txt me at all with any opinions of his exams in past few weeks, just had first txt to say that AQA physics was really easy!

DD seemed better this morning so she only has the lack of revision to contend with, rather than ignorance plus illness.

DH raised an eyebrow at my philosophical comment that it would be a good lesson on not leaving revision to the last minute. But DD was never going to be the next Hedy Lamarr, and one seriously duff result probably won't hold her back too much.

Erm, when does physics finish?

Edexcel Physics has finished! Celebrating with DS1 - Frappuccinos x 2. Will probe but he says it was 'alright'.

Dh is feeling ok today - just tired.

Today the dance school world is learning of the sudden loss of a much loved teacher who was also a father & husband. His wife is the reason Dd is still dancing.

DS called super chirpy and happy saying Physics Edexcel IGCSE was very easy and he's gone to hang out and lunch with his friends.

Dd isn’t happy. AQA Higher Physics was awful, she thinks she’s done really badly. I tried to reassure her that if it was that bad grade boundaries will be low.

...and we are done!!!! physics good apparently! he's of for a BBQ lunch now at friends house. Plans made for film , dominios and pjs on sofa tonight.

Alexander - difficult day for lots for many reasons, life is so short and sometimes so unfair.

Alexander DS says physics wasn't too bad - but that's probably the least positive comment from him so I think your dd is right - it was hard and grade boundaries won't be high.
It's all over. I can't believe it. I'm in the hairdressers and DS is on the computer!
