Does anybody know if/when this is starting in Scotland? Have done a fair bit of searching but can’t find any info on it but know it’s open for booking in England.
@TheCanyon - at this stage your friend should call the helpline. I called as I was missing an appointment and they generated one for me over the phone.
I sent her that missing letter link and it's not got back to her. It's hard as she's main carer for her granny whos 91 so she's eager to get it.

It took me 4 weeks to get my appointment letter after phoning the helpline as a cev household contact.

Would you be able to share the helpline number as my husband is 42 and hasn't had an appointment but im 39 and getting mine in June.

dementedpixie · 23/05/2021 11:02

I phoned 0800 030 8013, select opt 2, for mine

Igotnewbarstools · 23/05/2021 16:45

Op, I'm in the borders. My dp and I both got letters yesterday

ContadoraExplorer · 25/05/2021 08:21

If anyone else is still waiting to hear, we filled in the missing appointment form again today, a week after the first attempt and both me and DH have appointments for the 10th June. GG&C health board.

RedactedTaeFeck · 25/05/2021 08:54

I was keen to see when my 2nd appointment was as I'll be away for a week in June and didn't want to miss it. I did the missing appointment thing and got my appointment details back within an hour and that was yesterday evening. That was forth valley. I'm looking at 11 weeks from 1st appointment.

ConstantlySeekingHappiness · 25/05/2021 13:23

31 and received my letter today. Rescheduled my appointment and now it’s this weekend instead of the following weekend. Louisa Jordan.

GG&C health board but not in G41/42 post codes.

IsurviveonCoffeeandWinein2021 · 25/05/2021 14:01

I'm 33 and just done the link have my app on 9th of June. GCc health board

ICouldHaveCheckedFirst · 25/05/2021 14:02

@TheCanyon your friend could have had her jag ages ago as an unpaid carer. She should tell them.
Has she had an update?

IsurviveonCoffeeandWinein2021 · 25/05/2021 14:33

Should also say I tried last week and there was no appointment for me

rhubarb84 · 26/05/2021 14:25

I'm 36. No letter yet, fed up of seeing friends in England of the same age getting jabbed. So today I filled out the missing appointment form online. Got a date through by text within 5 minutes, for mid June. Then followed the link to reschedule and was able to get an appointment next week. DH did the same.

FromMyElectricalWell · 26/05/2021 16:35

Is anyone else in the same boat as me? In D&G, 37, registered as an unpaid carer for my elderly mother on 5th May and still no appointment. I've filled in the missing appointment form and phoned the helpline only to be told my details are on the system but there's no scheduled appointment yet. Meanwhile my friends the same age and younger have their dates in June confirmed. With no real understanding of how the allocation system works I am left feeling like I've slipped through the net. I've been given NHS inform login details so I can check for updates but it seems that there's nothing I can do but cross my fingers and wring my hands!

Fabuleuse · 26/05/2021 16:53

I'm almost 37 and still nothing for me. GCC health board. Tried the text form twice as I wasn't sure which surname I'd be recorded as, and no appointment details came through.

Summerzz123 · 28/05/2021 08:06

Try calling the helpline. I received the same reply but when I called, she told me that my details were in the system which meant my appointment would be allocated shortly thereafter, to call back in a couple of days.

I filled out the online form the following day and had an appointment, which I rescheduled for 2 weeks earlier.

brokengate · 28/05/2021 21:04

I am borders and got my letter today. Appointment was last week! But easily arranged another for next week.

Does anyone know what they are offering under 40? Is it a case of Astra Zeneca unless you ask for the alternative?

dementedpixie · 28/05/2021 21:06

They ask if you're under or over 40 and send you in the direction of the correct vaccine for your age group (well that's what happened with me)

ACPC · 01/06/2021 14:43

Bumping this thread, DH is 47, I'm 42, we are in South Lanarkshire. Still waiting on our first dose, we filled the missed vaccine form in last week, called the helpline too, they said they have our details we just need to wait. Anyone else? Feel like everyone we know has had theirs.

Are you able to attend one of the drop in centres?

When I was at Louisa Jordan on Sunday there was a drop-in for any over 40s not yet vaccinated. I was there around midday and there was no queue for the drop in.

ACPC · 01/06/2021 15:43

@15:02ConstantlySeekingHappiness
Thanks, I saw this but assumed it was just for people living in Glasgow. I will look into this as I would be happy to go and wait in the queue etc

FromMyElectricalWell · 01/06/2021 18:15

If anyone is still waiting, I called the helpline again today. They gave me the same line about "being on the system" and that I would be contacted "soon". When I continued to query what else could be done, and how long I should leave it etc. I was then told that my case could be escalated to a team leader who could contact the health board directly. Lo and behold ninety minutes later I got a text message with an appointment tomorrow, followed by a telephone call to make sure I got the text. So, worth a shot if you feel you've been left in no man's land.
