Hissy fit is unfair. It was sensitive commercial information.

IncludeWomenInTheSequel · 19/01/2021 14:50

What was in it that was commercially sensitive?

Not being an arse, I genuinely don't know.

LetItGoGo · 19/01/2021 14:50

Thought you'd gone.

Have a Google.

RaspberryCoulis · 19/01/2021 14:51

Quite. And as a trained lawyer, you'd think she'd know the implications of breaking a NDA.
IncludeWomenInTheSequel · 19/01/2021 14:52

I came back, can't be arsed working Grin

Sorry, thought this was a chat forum for, er, chatting about stuff.

RaspberryCoulis · 19/01/2021 14:53

And there's Patrick Harvey - another politician with no children - preaching to the rest of us about how schools need to stay closed.

And again - FUCKS SAKE.

Cismyfatarse · 19/01/2021 14:53

And there is the Daley picture.

One of his family?

Cismyfatarse · 19/01/2021 14:54

Dalek!

WouldBeGood · 19/01/2021 14:54

Patrick Harvey is just abhorrent

The UK government will have signed contracts with Pfizer and the others for a certain quantity at a certain price.

Both sides will have agreed to keep the specifics quiet.

Then Nicola publishes exactly how much we're getting and when, allowing every other government across the planet to see what we've negotiated, and to then swoop in and offer double, treble, 10 times the price. Our supply is jeopardised.

But yeah, it was a "hissy fit".

Cismyfatarse · 19/01/2021 14:55

He looks so like Harry Hill.

WouldBeGood · 19/01/2021 14:55

@Waverless quite 💐

Dinnafashyersel · 19/01/2021 14:55

Re dose and doze. I think it's an Ayrshire rather than Glasgow thing. Billy Connelly talks about a dose of the flu in the Wellie Boot song. I grew up in Ayrshire and a Doze had a very specific meaning requiring a visit to "the clinic". Grin Between Nicola and Jeanne right back to Jim Sillars and co Ayrshire has a lot to answer for.

Cismyfatarse · 19/01/2021 14:56

Love the doze meaning a trip to the clinic.

Is that like The Clap!

NotAnActualSheep · 19/01/2021 14:57

Thanks for all the updates!

When actually is "mid February" then? I'm assuming April, but that's not the point That is really, even for them, supremely unhelpful. How are parents/ businesses supposed to work on a range of dates that could encompass about 10 days?!

RaspberryCoulis · 19/01/2021 14:58

Next review 2nd Feb was about as specific as it got I'm afriad, Sheep.

Cismyfatarse · 19/01/2021 14:58

15th February is when we would come back from half term.

Peppafrig · 19/01/2021 15:00

Our schools would be back on the 11th February is that mid February

Albless · 19/01/2021 15:01

She said something about it being difficult or time-consuming to do vaccinations in nursing homes. Why would that be?

Surely it should be easier and faster? A captive “audience” as it were.

IncludeWomenInTheSequel · 19/01/2021 15:01

Ahh ok thanks @RaspberryCoulis

NotAnActualSheep · 19/01/2021 15:09

Yeah, that makes sense, but it would have been helpful to link to school hols if that is the plan. Are they the same Scotland wide this time? I suppose we'll just have to wait til the 2nd, then... so the teachers get to work through their Feb break again to get everything ready for returning. Lucky them.

Phased reopening is what they have bouted about but no details til at least 2nd of Feb.

Most likely to be early years before secondary but also dependent on the transmission rate in the area.

Our area is currently dropping down pretty quickly so hopefully it will stay the same! I'm wondering how long I can leave my sons hair to grow before I need to get the scissors out.....

IncludeWomenInTheSequel · 19/01/2021 15:11

No, Fife's Feb dates are 18th and 19th Feb, so we'd be back on 22nd.

WaxOnFeckOff · 19/01/2021 15:15

The whole bit about not revealing numbers was just posturing. What we want to know is why you are sitting on a surplus that we already know you have when GPs are shouting out for it as they have the facility to be getting it delivered into people in the target audience.

Cismyfatarse · 19/01/2021 15:16

Maybe the different dates will allow her to rationalise keeping schools closed until the start of March / never.
