Just that really. Just checking in to see how things are! Not sure if there is an existing thread. Apologies if so!

Oops just posted in the wrong thread. Just a wee fist bump to us level 3'ers for tomorrow. Relieved that there's at bit mor consistency for seniors , where I teach they are they worst at following protocol but the best at eye rolling and muttering. Trying a mask with a valve as that might be a bit easier for teaching in .

MistressIggi · 01/11/2020 16:53

Doesn't the valve mean the air you breath out just goes out? (I don't - clearly! - understand). I will struggle to be heard I think, will have to try not to shout though or will quickly lose my voice. It will be interesting!

Lidlfix · 01/11/2020 17:03

Think it filters air in better and reduces the clamminess . My COPD DF manages better with that type.

MistressIggi · 01/11/2020 19:13

Ah thanks that's interesting. I'm going to become a mask expert in the coming weeks I think!

How are level 4 folks feeling? Public Health were in my school and DD4's this week resulting in lots of isolations. So many things I can't do because "it's not safe" and there's being in school...

ConnellWaldron · 22/11/2020 17:39

Level 4 primary teacher here with kids in secondary. Primary is fine for now but concerns over lack of supply teachers so continuity may be vulnerable. Secondary seems like a revolving door of isolating pupils.
