That’s it, when do you start your summer holidays?

Mine are finished since last week. It's a looooooonnng 3 months, especially as I'm still working from home.

LooksBetterWithAFaceMask · 06/06/2022 19:20

30th June at 12 noon. I’ve taken the day off work to pick up ds2 from his last day of primary school so I can cry in the playground.

Whykea · 06/06/2022 19:23

24th June

Bluegirl222 · 06/06/2022 19:38

24th May in secondary school in Ireland. Far too long!

tiredanddangerous · 06/06/2022 19:39

GreenCard · 06/06/2022 19:41

Tallulasdancingshoes · 06/06/2022 19:43

Wednesday 20th July, in the NW

smileandsing · 06/06/2022 19:46

Finish on the 24th of June.

Posters should probably specify the month, we don't all live in England.

Bluegirl222 · 06/06/2022 19:47

@GreenCard back the last week of August. Primary school finish 23rd June which I thought was really long, but secondary school here is crazy.

Blanketpolicy · 06/06/2022 19:47

Ds finished 3 weeks ago when he sat his last exam (Scotland) and now has "school holidays" right through to mid September when he starts uni.

A massive 17 weeks off! (although I guess I cant call them school holidays anymore)

I'd love to have 17 weeks off, the things I could do. Ds intends to spend most of it sleeping 🤦🏻‍♀️

rhetorician · 06/06/2022 19:48

@Bluegirl222 same - first year here. Hard to know how to occupy a 13 year old for three months. Too old for camps, too young to be left to themselves. Aargh

Nidan2Sandan · 06/06/2022 19:52

22nd July, East Anglia.

My kids just came off half term this week and I can see how tired they are. We usually find this last half term drags for them and they become grumpy toe rags by the end of June.

weebarra · 06/06/2022 19:54

June 30th. I will also be crying in the playground and embarrassing DS2 as he finishes primary. Only one left to go and I can run giggling from that playground.

Bluegirl222 · 06/06/2022 19:54

@rhetorician its a bit of a nightmare isn't it! Won't do camps but you can't leave them on their own on a screen all day. I'm hoping the summer brings good weather or it will be a very long 3 months!
