"Hey ho thats IT _ his mistress has offered him a night away and he was checking his story out"

RL mate says NO WAY would peopel really having affairs go away for their birthday
I say YES WAY ( thinking of Affairs I Have Witnessed)

do you never have irrational moments along the line of hat passport thread though?

i once found some odd searhces on the pc and found out from a babysitter that she had been looking up her mates...
god i was panicky

what passport thread?

I am more than a little disappointed that any searches I find on our pc would be about blardy website coding

boring

CybilLiberty · 29/09/2009 17:37

No I have 100% conviction that my dh is dull loyal.

cocolepew · 29/09/2009 17:39

When DH left his last job, a miss you card came through the post, urging him to get in touch. I found it hard to read the name and practically threw it at him. After trying to decipher the name he phoned the number on it. It was from his sister who didn't speak to us and had changed her name .

ahundredtimes · 29/09/2009 17:42

I think MN is what done it. I've become about 500 x more suspicious - which has meant going from 0 to 500 - since being on MN

I'm doing lots of narrowing of eyes and then raising of eyebrows about 'I've got a meeting in London tomorrow'. Is exhausting, but good facial exercise.

JeminTheDungeon · 29/09/2009 18:00

Aye, we all have those irrational moments.

My DH has a fictional girlfriend too, that we talk about in the same way..

Anyway, you should be busying yourself getting your hair and make-up and welcoming smile and dinner on the table ready for when he comes in so sod off and get yerself too it...

I once looked at the internet history and someone had googled fat ladies and there was a pic of a huge lady in a tiny bikini. I thought 'God no wonder he didn't mind when I put on a bit of weight!' It turned out it was when my diet obsessed sil was using the computer!

NormaStanleyFletcher · 29/09/2009 18:12

CNyle - How is your Sis now. I have often wondered.

TheCappster · 29/09/2009 19:02

dh did say when I mned more often that he was finding me increasingly anti-men

he was coming home every day to hear me angrily banging the pans and spouting some new tale of adulterous woe

when all he had done was gone to work and had a tuna sandwich for his lunch

I think this is another 'what does mn make you do' things

ShutUpandDrinkYourGin · 29/09/2009 19:15

dp and I both have fictional other partners

in reality neither of us could be bothered with the hassle

(and we love each other very much of course )

I did have a little wibble when it occurred to me that he could have slept with his ex-GF when we first started going out (he didn't)

DottyDot · 29/09/2009 19:24

No - a strayer wouldn't go away on his birthday - or a successful strayer anyway - I mean look at this, your poor dh has only got to mention he's going to be away on his birthday and you're on his case!

A strayer would stay at home on his birthday and see the Other Woman the day before/after...
