We have been together 23 years now and have been married for 8 years.

Met first aged about 7 - on holiday in the same place at the same time.

We were introduced again in my penultimate term at University (both 22) and had a whole 'love at first sight thing' .

We've now been together for 11 years, married for 8 and have 1.5 DCs. He's still lovely.

At work, 11 years ago. He was new and it was my job to show him round on his first day. He was 30, I was 27. I 'knew' as soon as I saw him, although we were both with other people and it took another 2.5 years to get together. We've been married 5 years and have 2 dcs.

GumsNRoses · 07/05/2009 16:20

He was the older brother of my Ds's mate, had come round to fix my Sons car. We have been together 8 yrs, married for 7 (Ds was my witness) He was 32, I was 40 and I love him to bits!

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 07/05/2009 16:23

In the pub. A friend of mine was working there so a bunch of us went in to abuse see him and DH was the manager. I thought phwoar and went back the next week with a girlfriend, then again with the original bunch of friends. He was short-staffed that night and looked for volunteers, I said I couldn't possibly as I'd never worked in a pub, and suddenly I had a new pt job. I'd just turned 21 a few weeks earlier, he was 24, and it's our silver wedding aniversary this year.

Lizzylou · 07/05/2009 16:24

We were both 23, he had come to do a year placement at a firm in my home town. Met on a night out through friends who worked there too. I loved his northern accent and sense of humour, my chest was apparently the draw for him .
That was 13 years ago, been married for 7 years.Had a long distance relationship for the second and third years of our relationship then I moved up to Lancashire and we bought our house together.
