Question about oral sex and hygiene

I'm not a woman who "glows". I sweat. If I'm hot/anxious/angry/dashing about, my pits (and bits) sweat.

I don't think anyone would think me smelly or unhygienic. But I know if I feel a bit too hot and bothered downstairs to be comfortable about receiving any oral action. I'd say I would probably want to "freshen up" beforehand at least half the time.

Maybe because most women don't seem smelly (but then nor do I), I imagine that most women can tear around after their kids all day or get flustered commuting/working, and then happily enjoy oral sex later on, having bypassed the bathroom altogether. I don't think I could, and I'm wondering if that's odd.

So, gather round namechangers and tell me what's "normal".

Wipes are very bad for you actually- despite what they say on the packet! I can see they have a place if you have a period and want to be a bit fresher if you are out all day or cannot get to a shower- but a bottle of water poured over yourself in the loo is just, if not, as effective.

I agree that these companies prey on women's "guilt" about how they should smell.

It's like, fresh sweat is (or can be) quite a turn on, old stale sweat less so (except to those with specialist preferences). Not keen on cheesy cocks myself, but even less keen on chemical-coated ones...

I don't use wipes - I don't think they work. And I don't like overly scented stuff. And I would agree that a 'pleasantly aromatic' fanjo is the way to go, which is why - about half the time - I wouldn't wash beforehand. I like the whole natural whiff, not overly trimmed, etc, thing. BUT this brings things full-circle to why I asked my original question: I wonder if I sweat much more than your average woman/my sweat is unusually whiffy (I don't like how it smells!), and it is this self-consciousness that compels me to have a quick wash about half the time before fun and games kick off.

Natural secretions, generating a kind of musty scent, is normal and natural and I imagine a turn-on. That, I don't have a problem with. But lots of sweat, I do. And women grow up in a culture which asserts that they glow, rather than sweat - and I can tell you, I sweat. On and off throughout the day. And in the same way I wouldn't want to lick an armpit that's been sweating throughout the day, I wouldn't expect a bloke to go down on a fanjo that's been doing the same for about 15 hours.

So in principle, I agree, solidgold, veryembarrassed and Reality. However, I suspect there will be a normal distribution curve with this and I wonder if I'm at the sweat-a-lot-so-a-wash-is-necessary end. And Jerry Hall's obviously at the other!

Being really practical here- if you wear 100%, or near enough, cotton knickers, and a panty liner perhaps and change it throughout the day, the sweat will be absorbed and not stay on YOU so much!

I have a mini shower hose next to the loo - being Muslim means I need to wash with water every time I use the loo and I tell you what - its really good for keeping you fresh!
