My man smokes weed

I wonder if anyone has any advice for me. My dp goes to his mates house almost every saturday and comes home stoned.
I think he's really childish doing it and should grow up. I'm not sure if I get so angry because he'd rather spend his time doing that, than been with me and dd or if I just have a problem with drugs.
He does only go out once a week, am I been stupid?
I have also recently given up smoking because dp wanted me to and him doing this just seems like a kick in the teeth.
Its eating me up inside, I dread weekends coming.

I love going out and getting wasted both physically, mentally and emotionally. Like going through a human dishwasher - wicked.

Lonely mum

Stoned people just sort of sit there looking a touch glazed. Sometimes they laugh at things that aren't really that funny. And sometimes they speak in riddles. They don't usually do anything very useful during the stoned time. But they usually agree with you during a conversation so its great if you like to win arguments.

I think I would call it 'down time' bit like when your computer is switched off.

Not that I would know of course

oh yeah advice. i think she seems more bothered that he goes out than the weed. but it does stink. i've recently stopped fags myself so really notice it.

how about a deal. you each get two sat nights out a month and you can do what you like.

i mean you can't really tell him not to do it, your not his mum

He goes out from 9 in the mornin till 11 at night on a saturday though. But if I could go out every other saturday I'd be more than happy!!

I got so stoned once my brother dyed my hair pink and I didn't notice till the next day!!

my dad is retiring next year. and has recently announced that he is going to re-ignite his teenage interest in street drugs starting with weed.

but also says hes looking forward to seeing what all the fuss is about with heroin and crack.

says he wanted to wait til retired as would be irresponsible to risk losing job

i think hes mucking about but can't be sure.

anyway elsmommy your fella sounds ok. they all like to go out if they can don't they. important thing is to get up first, sneak around flat getting ready. then pop into bedroom wake him up ' announce - I'm just popping out for a bit, see you later and hand over baby' then dash out of door.

this is what i did to get my dp to look after baby - it helped him get his confidence and now he dan do it anytime
