You kept the whole Mumsnet community on the edge of our seats back in November with the story of your toxic MIL forcing your DH to keep a family christening secret from you.

When the thread finished your DH had confronted his mum, you'd gone to the christening anyway, and MIL had ignored your dd. Then your dad had to have a heart op, MIL was, you suspected, pretending to be ill, and you'd just found out you were pregnant with DC2 (congratulations!).

Well you know how nosy us mumsnetters are!!! Please bring us up to date - what happened next?

Anyone want a cup of tea? Incidentally, does anyone remember the name of those biscuits you used to get? They were like jaffa cakes but instead of an orange-y bit, it was cherry and instead of milk chocolate on top, it was white chocolate with milk chocolate drizzly bits across?
The name of those has escaped me for years and no one I know seems to remember them....

I just found a blog and someone said they were/are called LU Pims Cherry Cakes and were Belgian. The name does sound familiar. Went onto the PIMS website and can't find them on there but they do have raspberry ones...

And there are different Polish ones called Delicje which have a blueberry centre....

If I ever track the Pims ones down I swear I will buy 10 boxes

Haven't read all the messages so I don't know if anyone's done this already. She did use the name 'thum' for a bit around November (and it's definitely her) so I've used that to CAT her. I hope that will work.

Oh and while we are waiting for updates, I'd love to know how that Mnetters christmas day went (the one whos present's all had to be from Santa and she was going to be racing here, there and every where with her 8 month old)

What ever happened to that MNer whose DD drew a picture of a plane crash before they were due to go on holiday?

What ever happened about that school that was going to make children go to the Head for 5mins whenever they didn't do what they were told immediately?

comes in from work . Goes to kitchen and feed bloomin cat . Opens post ,another bloomin bill puts kettle on then thinks stuff that and opens wine . Puts slippers on and heads to lounge . Wheres sunny . Anyone for wine .

Polish jaffa cakes are quite nice - I seem to recall they do many flavours, though maybe not in UK? Yum.
