Last night i was getting stresses about arrnagements for my op and i admit i was being very difficult. H tried to make up a couple of time and then went of to the spare room to bed. He knows i have sleepless nights when things aren't resoved that evenign so i went in to the room after 30 mins or so and got upset about him going - and a huge row started. don't even know if i can have mu op now as he'll be looking after me

Whilst I understand that you are clearlt stressed about your op, it is clear that your dp is also very stressed about it as well as the responsibility of caring for you and dc afterwards. Maybe some of the shouting is as a result of the stress on both sides. However, I do agree with other posters that you do sound as though you just can't accept apologies and move on! What is the man supposed to do? If he does something you consider 'wrong', he apologises and gets moaned at again! He offers to make lunck/drink/take dc out and what is your response? you remind him yet again of how inadequate he is. It isn't on. However stressed you feel, you cannot keep doing this to him. Frankly, if my dh did this to me, I would have told him where to get off long ago! He can't go back and undo the things you complain of, but he has apologised and tried to make amends in his own way. Either accept it and move on or end what sounds like an already damaged relationship!

Thats ok Beaches. Piuh!

catinthehat · 02/09/2008 21:34

Unfortunately Beaches, I'm with QS on this one, "nothing..of what I said qualifies to a "bugger off", neither an insult of my parents and my upbringing. You are very rude".

Read it again - I was not trying to be supportive or constructive, I was merely stating an intention.

Feeling a bit "uncomfatable" now?

umberella · 02/09/2008 21:44

oh god catinthehat, hide the thread and sod off. what an unpleasant dullard.

mymittens, i hope everything goes ok for you, glad you are feeling calmer.

catinthehat · 02/09/2008 22:09

You seem quite over excited about something Umberella. I'm sure it couldn't be about an anonymous poster on an a bulletin board. Maybe you have real life problems to sort out. A bare knuckle fight needs arranging perhaps? Or maybe you need to get on a bus and sit next to somebody and mutter violently under your breath until they get off. Anyway, good luck when you remember which it is.

umberella · 02/09/2008 22:22

none of the above - thanks for your concern though...just found your posts pretty twatty.

Dominion · 02/09/2008 22:33

catinthehat - you can hardly blame the op for going on, and then keep returning to this thread, bleating. It is unpleasant.

catinthehat · 02/09/2008 22:41

Really no need to turn up on a thread just to be rude Umberella.

Trying then to make yourself look concerned and lovely and supportive when the OP had cleared off approx 36 hours ago doesn't actually wash I'm afraid.

You really do come across as being a leetle verbally aggressive generally. Might want to watch that in future. I'm sure I'm not the only one to have noticed it.

Now off you go and kick a few dustbins.

What a load of twaddle! Anyone know what is happening with mittens or has she fallen by the wayside in this thread...

QuintessentialShadow · 03/09/2008 19:35
