I feel terrible this morning. I got so angry with him and we ended up having a really huge row. I dont know whats going on in my head at the moment, but nothing he does is ever good enough. I know im lucky to have him, and he is a great dad, but i feel as if im supposed to be super housewife (like her off wife swap last night!) and i just cant do it. im ashamed to say it, but i was seriously considering leaving for good last night because i feel like i have really let him down and cant be what im supposed to be. He has already left for work this morning, and i just wanted to grab him and hug him and say sorry, but i couldnt.... something inside wouldnt let me. Sorry, just really needed to get it all out.

I fanny about on mn and my house is disgusting

soapbox · 04/02/2005 11:06

The reality is that we probably all spend too long fannying around on MN, but what the hell - so you think we're all going to be sitting at the pearly gates weeping about the days we didn't get round to the hoovering or cleaning the loo!

Nah!

lowcalCOD · 04/02/2005 11:07

If she gets on me again though - I'll have to give her a big smack in the gob

WideWebWitch · 04/02/2005 11:08

I am a sahm from Monday and dp has threatened to set up something to track how long I spend here. I admit to fannying around on here a lot and having a filthy house. I don't think I'd be cleaning even if I wasn't here though, it's not one of my top priorities.

lowcalCOD · 04/02/2005 11:09

my dh does look! its shameful

lowcalCOD · 04/02/2005 11:09

I could do step on you!

soapbox · 04/02/2005 11:11

Ah well - I have to confess - my house is spotless - but only 'cos someone else cleans it for me!!

I've taken the kids to school, been shopping and put tonights dinner in the slowcooker though. I'm off to make suzy's brownies in a minute because the children have friends home from school tonight.

I only have one day a week at home - but I love it 'cos not allowed to post on MN at work, can only look

fairyfly · 04/02/2005 11:12

yes but you put washing in and it takes five seconds and sit here while it does its magic, its hardly time consuming, i also mop the floor and sit here, spray the shower and sit here. I would do more work but everything need soaking time etc, and i cant walk on a wet floor

lowcalCOD · 04/02/2005 11:12

I needt o go and wash kitchen

anorak · 04/02/2005 11:19

I tear myself away and go and do bits of housework then reward myself with a quick read of the latest posts. All the time I am cleaning or cooking or whatever I feel guilty that I am not attending to my real work on mn.
