Where did you meet your partner?

Good evening everyone!

I've been a single mum for a while now and would like to meet someone (this year hopefully!), however it feels like a total minefield 🥲

I'm looking for some inspiration so would like to ask, where did you meet your partner?

Not me but someone I know is happily married to the person who knocked her off her bike with his car. He was mortified, contacted her to check she was OK, bought flowers etc. Sorry OP, not the best suggestion.

My DH was a friend of a previous boyfriend. Previous boyfriend and his wife are still friends of ours.

Lots of people saying Facebook. How? Admittedly, I'm old, but I always thought Facebook was for connecting up with people you already know. How do you meet someone new? I'm assuming you don't just send friend requests to randoms that you like the look of, or do you?!
