Mine won't eat lamb, says he doesn't like it, unless I tell him its beef, then its lovely! I was given a lovely home made lamb curry once, I didn't want it to go to waste, so I told him it was beef

He won't eat duck either because they're cute (and tbh I think that's the real reason he won't eat lamb!)

bossykate · 08/03/2008 19:12

i won't wear slippers! no-one in our house has them!

Boredveryverybored · 08/03/2008 19:22

I don't wear slippers either, but I want to wear them, I have lots I keep buying thinking they look pretty/comfy/warm etc, but after five minutes I get annoyed with them and take them off

MaryBS · 08/03/2008 19:29

I went to school once in my slippers . Realised before I got there though!

soapbox · 08/03/2008 19:31

I'm not surprised - slippers are yuck

schneebly · 08/03/2008 19:31

Mine doesn't like balloons because the noise they make "hurts his heart"

He won't wear a watch.
He won't take off his t-shirt (or anything else) without the blinds/curtains being completely shut. Even if he is standing round the corner from the window or there is only a 1mm opening in the curtains.
He always runs the shower whilst he is in the loo.
He insists he is allergic to cheese but eats cheese cake. Will not believe me that it is actually made with soft cheese.

allgonebellyup · 08/03/2008 19:37

gibberish - does he run the shower when on the loo so you dont hear the "plop" ??

gibberish · 08/03/2008 19:39

Yes he does allgone. Even when he isn't doing any plops

Notalone · 08/03/2008 19:47

DP can work out the ins and outs of all things complicated on the pc but cannot figure out the washing machine despite me telling him numerous times. Think he acts stoopid on purpose with this one though!

schmoopoo · 08/03/2008 19:53

has cornfalkes mon- fri
cocopops sat and sun
won't try anything new
toilet after breakfast

FrayedKnot · 08/03/2008 19:53

DH thinks his waist measurement is 4 inches less than it actually is..

eekamoose · 08/03/2008 20:10

DH puts the bowls in the narrow slots for side plates in the dishwasher, and the side plates in the wide slots for bowls. Have been married 14 years and had a dishwasher for 10 years and told him about a hundred thousand times but still ...

Mumcentreplus · 08/03/2008 20:14

Mine half fills the bluddy loo bowl with toilet paper so he wont get splashed...he uses too much bluddy paper & baby wipes too!

squimlet · 08/03/2008 20:22

mumcentreplus...so does mine!! Drives me insane.

Mumcentreplus · 08/03/2008 20:24

lol..glad to hear I don't suffer alone!

Beauregard · 08/03/2008 20:24

dp wont wear pants

squimlet · 08/03/2008 20:45

Beauregard · 08/03/2008 20:48

seriously he has been pantless all his adult lifehe says that they restrict him although he has been known to don a pair for a special occasion.
It does cause him problems though if he leaves his fly undone

Beauregard · 08/03/2008 20:50

Dp says i should have asked for his consent before posting about his lack of pants on the WWW

Nbg · 08/03/2008 20:52

Mine insists that hoovering gives him migrane.
Hates Pasta of any description and cheese.

Hassled · 08/03/2008 20:53

Mine bases his choice of car park spaces soley on whether or not he can do a Gene Hunt-esque turn to get in the space.

He is also obsessed with flossing his teeth - even bought some poncey water jet gadget for the tiny gaps between his teeth, which broke after about a month.

Hassled · 08/03/2008 20:54

solely, even

suedonim · 08/03/2008 21:44

I started a thread about my dh's weirdness. He doesn't put any water on his toothbrush when he cleans his teeth. And I only found this out last month even though we've been married 35yrs! MN advice was that divorce is the only answer.
