Give me your worst pet peeves!

for me, it’s got to be poor hygiene, bad manners, really weird sex noises (lol).

Eating in an uncouth way. Being quick to anger over unimportant things. Ear hair or bushy eyebrows .. Not washing hands enough. Not enjoying reading. Giving 100% energy to others/work/whatever, but being a lazy moaning boring unmotivated person with family at home. Being weird about their mum (either too close or not close enough). Rude to waitstaff. Dismissive or nasty to animals. Being overly or weirdly secretive. Making "jokes" all the time which are either thinly veiled insults or just not funny (ie. Not reading the room).

Being tight with time or money. Making false promises. Not being interested in doing the very basics to try not to die of ill health too young. Not sharing the mental load of family life.

God I've got loads more as well 🙄😁 and these are from a selection of people haha

This is going to go down like a cup of cold sick on here but I don't like men who coddle or play with relatives children at family events/parties. It just makes my insides churn.

overly into gaming or playing/watching sports

Really bad snoring

Excessive farting

verbally asking for or attempting to schedule sex

Always getting way too drunk at family events

wearing ‘old man’ sandals

Horrible toenails

Obsessing and getting overly angry about politics and the state of the economy etc and bringing everyone down with non stop ranting about it.

Always having the tv excessively loud

calling female friends and/or their partner ‘hun’

Bad hygiene and zero care for self maintenance. Being deliberately incompetent in the home. Not pulling weight or paying for anything other than what they consider to be ‘their bills’, tight and unthoughtful at birthdays/Christmas. Talking excessively, turning all conversations into a ‘me me me’, being talked ‘at’ rather than ‘with’ situation. Constantly interrupting. Not being able to take criticism no matter how gently you try and express it. No common sense. Sex pest. Scoffing at others for anything they deem to be ‘stupid’. Talking nonsense because they think they’re right. Doing a ‘oh you’re so silly’ sigh with a smirk on their face. Snoring or farting/belching because they just felt like it (especially in public), using the bathroom for excessive amount of time (medical or illness issues aside).

Ive probably got a million more. Maybe a therapist would be better 🤣.

Oh yes! And picking at feet, playing with toes, using socks to towel between said toes before putting on new ones 🤮

I met a guy once who would give his mum massages, including foot massages.

Smelly feet! The two longest relationships in my life including 17 year marriage were or are with men who's feet just don't smell at all!

Weird eating - someone I know bobs their spoon or fork whilst they're chomping, before the next spoon or fork full. Maddening!

Spittle collecting in the corner of mouth/bad breath. I'm not fussed about wonky or crap teeth as long as they're clean and not smelly. A great old flame was missing several teeth but honestly never really noticed that.

Agressive driving... people who constantly ask you what you want to do rather than suggesting something... men who drink wine not beer or lager (that ones makes no sense/weird I know!) I just hate wine breath - I don't even drink it much myself. Agree with rude people or people rude to waiters/etc and oversharers if I don't know them very well.

I'm laughing at both of these because I just happened to see two Hollywood films where the heroine realises she loves the hero because she sees him playing adorably with children.

Vanity. An ex spent ages drying and styling his hair. Really put me off.

Lack of ambition. Lack of hobbies or interests. Stinginess. Constant touchy-feely nonsense. Insistance on always being right. Racism/homophobia. Being overly involved that does not concern him in any way.
