Can anyone else physically carry their DH?

I'm in my early 40s. I can give DH a piggyback for a few seconds. Being slightly bigger and him giving me warning before climbing my back does help 🤣. Can anyone else lift up or carry their DH?

Yes, and adult DS.

lakapass · 30/07/2023 22:25

I can piggy back him and pick him up. He's not light either.

Almostwelsh · 30/07/2023 22:25

I used to be able to when I was married. Nit for very long though. He was both taller and heavier than me, although not very heavy for a man - just over 11 stone.

TomatoSandwiches · 30/07/2023 22:28

No absolutely not! I can just about carry my 7yr old, DD (11) tried to jump on me a while ago and she took me out like a sack of potatoes, still have a nasty bruise to show for it as well.

Gooseysgirl · 30/07/2023 22:29

Not a hope... he's a foot taller than me and at least 2 stone heavier 😆

Walterwhiteswifey · 30/07/2023 22:30

Yup, only a piggy back though. If I try to pick him up when he's standing I nearly burst a blood vessel 😂

Wibbleswombats · 30/07/2023 22:31

Yep.

MmmALovelyBitOfSquirrel · 30/07/2023 22:31

I can. We're a similar height but I'm sturdy! If there was a fire, I could definitely drag him out if needs be, may need to stop a couple of times but I could do it! 🤣

MicrowaveRice · 30/07/2023 22:32

Yes I can! Pick up and piggyback.

MicrowaveRice · 30/07/2023 22:33

I am a sturdy bird though.

KickAssAngel · 30/07/2023 22:36

Haven't tried for a while but could probably lift him off his feet and take a few steps or piggy back for a couple of meters.

Kilopascal · 30/07/2023 22:37

Christ, no, he's literally twice my weight.

Would be fun to try though.

lilsupersparks · 30/07/2023 22:38

Yes, easily 🤣 looks silly though as he is 6 foot and I am 5’4’’ :-)

transparentday · 30/07/2023 22:42

No not a chance!

CuteOrangeElephant · 30/07/2023 22:42

Absolutely not. He's 6'3" and broad-shouldered.

Emmamoo89 · 30/07/2023 22:50

Nope my partner is 6 foot 2 and a small. He's double my weight. I'd go down like a sack of shit

CopperSeahorses · 30/07/2023 22:51

I could, I had to a couple of times.

Emmamoo89 · 30/07/2023 22:51

I'm*

tillyandmilly · 30/07/2023 22:54

Not at 17 stone I can’t!

shelbabab · 30/07/2023 22:54

Not a chance. I'm 5ft1 and 8 stone. He's 6ft4 and about 16 or 17 stone. Infact I don't know anyone that cld carry him!

MadCatLady27 · 30/07/2023 22:55

If I really try I can just about lift mine off the floor.

I'm a fat Hobbit and he's lighter than me (I think!)

TulipTuesday · 30/07/2023 22:56

No way! He’s 6’2 and 18st. I’m not the slimmest but I’m weak as fuck so there’s no hope

BackAgainstWall · 30/07/2023 22:59

Nope, I would collapse in a heap.

Very impressed with those that can 😂💪

mrsfollowill · 30/07/2023 23:03

I'm about a stone heavier than DH- he is maybe three inches taller than me - we are both hobbity really - I used to be able to lift him piggy back style but not these days - I've lost a lot of strength as I've aged- I have to ask him to open my wine sometimes as my grip on the screwtop (classy bird me!) is not good enough! I'm only early 50's but very menopausal at the moment. I get him and adult DS doing all the heavy lifting these days.

Only if I want to die!
