Let's be honest here, it's never a good sign when you receive a Facebook message from another woman saying, I have something to tell you. I mean we all know where that's going to lead?

Just now waiting to hear back about what this information is.

@Whatapickle07
No mature adult who has an important message for you sends some quasi cryptic message through Facebook and they certainly don't sign it with xxx.

This woman knows you, there is no good reason for such a childish approach.

I would not have responded , and I would not do any sort of follow up with her. If she has information, and even if it is true, her intention is not to do you a good turn. More likely than not she wants to cause pain for someone else.

Your life is not a game to be played out through social media.

I think it sounds like she’s been hacked. Hope it turns out to be nothing!

Beeinalily · 28/07/2023 23:21

It could be a MLM thing.

If she hasnt been hacked, shes probably trying to sell you some MLM scheme

Hi OP,

I hope you're ok. I'm sure it opened up old wounds getting that message but try not to worry. I suspect it's a stupid pyramid thing too. Myself and my friend were approached by a primary school teacher of ours last week and nearly believed it was her.

Hopefully she responds soon and you can forget this. And give her a piece of your mind for her stress inducing ambiguous crap too.

SafeAsAMouse · 29/07/2023 08:56

I’ve had a few of these. One form someone I’d not been in touch with for about 10 years saying that someone we know has died. And another one recently from someone who I wanted to do some sewing for me. Saying ‘Hi hun, hope you’re doing good xxx’ It’s just a scam when accounts get hacked.

DJT86 · 29/07/2023 09:36

They could be just stirring maybe jealous, especially starting off with that sentence. No offence and not that I have ever done it but if I slept with someone else man I feel guilty. I be apologising not starting with that silly sentence

Guineapigwoes · 29/07/2023 10:06

MLM crap I bet

anyolddinosaur · 29/07/2023 10:15

Ignore - this has scam written all over it. If it's not a scam she'll just come out with it.

topnoddy · 29/07/2023 10:36

It's all bollocks !

sammyjoanne · 30/07/2023 20:58

any update OP?

Epidote · 30/07/2023 21:05

She send you a lure message on Facebook? To keep you thinking about it?
Just block, I'f she really want to tell you something she will find the way.

Don't fall for that dramatic performance.
Enjoy the rest of the evening
